Aroma Maya Coffee & Donuts (Sobeys Fast Fuel) — Restaurant in Truro

My friend I couldn't wait to try these doughnuts. We got there around 5ish. Boy were we disappointed. Doughnuts were stale and overpriced and not worth the money. If these doughnuts were made that morning then they should still be fairly fresh. If they can't keep their freshness then they should have been sold at a discounted price. And not a great variety as it was late in the day and they weren't making doughnuts that late in the day. Tim Horton's is 1,000 % better. If I could have given it a rating of -5 I would have. I will say one thing though. It was a very clean place and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though the variety was small. What's there to say, this is a company that's going places. Literally! Fantastic coffee, donuts and bagels this shop was my first introduction to coffee and the reason I now love it so much! (It's all your fault! Hehe) I honestly feel like it is my second home. The staff at every location are just so pleasant, the drinks are consistent and the bagels are just to die for. The owner Sergio and his family are the literal sweetest people and never hesitate if they see me in public to say hi. I love supporting local businesses and I especially love to do so when I know my money and energy are going towards good people. I am so happy to have this shop in town and their success brings me so much joy to see new locations pop up around Nova Scotia all the time. I will come here forever....

I'd had a very long day a long drive and not a lot of sleep when I had to be up early for an appointment. I was hoping to find some coffee place that wasn't the standard prefab place but there were power outages everywhere. Someone mentioned this coffee shop and it's in a very odd place but my God it is worth it. It's on top of the biggest hill in town and to me now it's like some sort of shining pagoda. Amazing coffee and fabulous staff. Power was out but they had hot coffee and took cash. They even had plant based doughnuts! Outside the city in atlantic canada is difficult for anyone vegetarian vegan or gluten free... but these folks have it all covered. Only downside is I can't give...
