We stayed at the campground and we needed to get some food so we walked here to check it out. It’s located on the main strip beside the grocery store & bakery. This place operates like a cafeteria. You order and pay at the counter then go sit with a number. They do deliver your food but after that initial delivery you’re on your own. The space is nice and updated. It reminds me of a beach house style vibe. There’s an ice cream shop attached and the window for that service is outside. It seems to always have a massive line up. We didn’t have room left for ice cream so we can’t comment on that experience but they were working non stop. The food selection is pretty standard but they have a fair sized menu to allow for a bit of everything for everyone. Since there is no AC in there and there’s a bunch of fans, it was a bit warm so we opted for something easy. We tried out the chicken quesadillas. They weren’t bad, tasty and hit the spot. It wasn’t anything to write home about though and took 20 minutes to get as they were so busy. I had a lemonade and it was a freshly squeezed one, I had her put a bit more sweetener in it because I find them usually too tart. It wasn’t bad, I just don’t understand the point of putting half a lemon in there. I guess it means they can get away with giving less product, but I don’t get that appeal. They aren’t the only ones doing this so I guess I shouldn’t blame them specifically. Just something to consider. Maybe can ask without lemon to give more space in the cup? I didn’t even think to ask that personally. Most employees seem to be summer students (teenagers) doing summer jobs. They do sell some alcohol but certain staff need to come for that sale of it. Small selection, not too bad but not super varied. Mostly beer. I like that there’s bathrooms across the road for the park, as I imagine sometimes it can get pretty busy and packed. We managed to get there when there wasn’t too many people, it was still a 25 min wait but we were able to find seating without stressing. They also have seating outdoors that was well shaded. Plenty of parking along the street and in the lot, but with the volume of population they get I imagine it can get full quickly. Next time we’d try the bakery/cafe, but it worked!

First off, the owner Kevin was exceptional. An elderly gentleman needed some help choosing a beer and Kevin patiently brought every beer he had, sorted by style and help him pick. Great to see. Food was really tasty. It was after closing and he stopped by to check how are meal was. I said great, a glass of wine with the hot turkey sandwich would be perfect. He brought me one, even though they were closed and said on the house. Highly recommend you stop by while visiting and enjoy.

I had a great lunch here, it's definitely my go to place if I'm ever in Falcon Lake again. It's big and open inside, and the servers are friendly enough, but the food was the real star of the show. Delicious, filling, and won't break the bank. Once you're done, if you still have room for more they have ice cream round the side, and it's pretty good too. Be aware that the large scoop is particularly large, so it may start dripping and falling off if you don't eat it quickly enough.

We visit this location often when traveling through the area. They make a stupendous Reuben sandwich and their curly fries are as incredible. Really great staff too, always friendly, even though you can see they are working very hard to keep things as great as it is. It’s a great place to eat with fantastic food.

(I’ll forgive you Saturday’s fiasco when the very new and “efficient” waitress, was so busy “being efficient” in rambling off questions to me about my order, so efficient, she completely missed what my answers were. Felt a bit like a CIA interrogation. “Over easy, eggs must not be runny” is a thing where I come from…So we did not eat the runny eggs you served us. She clearly trained at Mc Donald’s, or similar establishment where we don’t eat. We were back the next day though, for a...

Ordered online via website, worked great and was easy to complete the order. Food was ready on time as indicated in the confirmation. Most importantly... food was delicious and portions were generous! Family ordered buffalo chicken wraps, cheeseburger, nest burger (was excellent) fries and poutine. All good. Check their website/restaurant for the weekly poutine night - had them throughout last year, and each one was different and tasty. For those that aren't regular locals or cottagers, it does get busy on Fridays and Saturdays - so plan accordingly. Hate to see poor reviews of a good restaurant because people had to wait in line... it is a reality of the covid world and busy weekends. Plan ahead and deal...
