First time ordering online and decided to order 2 lbs of lechon for Jan. 17, 2025. We wanted to try it out first before ordering a whole one for an event. I received a text saying they don’t deliver in Maple Ridge (which is fine) and that there is a minimum order of 5lbs (which was not stated in there website even when you place your order).
We still decided to give them a chance and order a whole lechon (placed the order on Jan. 18th through their website) for our event on Feb. 1st deliver to PoCo (they said they can deliver here). Fast forward to 5 days before the event, I called them to ask what time are they going to deliver as there might not be anyone at home (asked to be delivered at 6pm). They said that there is no order confirmed for that date for us. So told them I places the order 2 weeks ago and that I didn’t receive any other communication from them other than the email stating they will contact me within the day of the order placed for confirmation.
Then the following day, I received a text at around 5 am giving us 3 options which stated that 1) they can only deliver the lechon in the area at 11-12pm (our event is dinner time, thus the delivery time at 6pm) 2) meet up with them in Port Moody between 3-3:30pm as they have delivery there, or 3) pick up the lechon in Vancouver at 4:30pm. Take note that they charge $10 for delivery.
This is just so ridiculous. The reason we ordered in the first place is because of the delivery. We ordered 2 weeks in advance so that we can secure the time slot. So we canceled our order coz of bad service. Their apology text is so not even sincere. Very unprofessional and very...

Read moreI have a feeling a lot of people are going to be posting their frustrations just as I. A lot of us booked our food DAYS OR WEEKS AHEAD. Why couldn’t there be a more organized and coordinated approach? If there was a 30 minute delay, sure that is fine, but the fact that everyone had a 1.5+ hour delay is ridiculous. People were forced to cancel their orders and figure out last minute what to put on their tables for Christmas. I’m sorry to say but this company ruined Christmas for me and for many others.
There was no sincerity or accommodation for the people but a repetitive, “you can cancel the order and leave”. Phone calls were being thrown everywhere and yet they’re unable to locate their delivery driver and figure out EXACTLY their ETA and products being brought.
With all the advertising that you guys promote, I suggest that you also put in the effort of actually being a good business and learn how to handle customer service and customer satisfaction, how to manage and accommodate orders and work together as a business with proper management.
With the amount of people I witnessed today that cancelled their orders, I suggest you guys take this as a...
