Not pleased with my experience this evening at 7pm with the employee working. Every single topping i asked for was a battle. I ask for lots of tomatoes, he puts 3 on the 12inch. I ask for lots more he put one more. I literally had to say can you please put 4-5more, not just one? Next step, same battle. Time for sauce? Same battle. My husband's sub after? Same battle. I've never had to repeat myself so many times in my life. On top of this, he face was stone cold and he did not offer a single peasantry, greeting, or nice comment the entire interaction. This man did not care about his job, or about us as customers. Not a nice experience at all.
I will come back and review at another time based on the younger Asian gentleman that works there though. Greets you warmly, makes conversation, listens to instructions and is the best sandwich maker around. He warrants 10 stars normally, and deserves a raise especially when i compare him to employees like the one I faced this evening. I think maybe he should be training the rest of the employees, and the gentleman working tonight, on how to actually care about their job, respect their owners establishment, and offer kindness...
Read moreBread tasted a day old and not much taste to the submarine. Being from the Island we don't have a Mr. Sub, so I ordered two small submarine to try different flavors. Assorted (ham, luncheon and salami) and Seafood (imitation crab meat mix) with a brownie and cookies.
Assorted was their popular submarine but it fell short when compared to the cold cut trio from Subway. It was half the meat (very thin slices) than the cold cut trio. The seafood imitation crab meat mix had little flavor and on the submarine too. Both submarine suffered from poor bread that tasted dry and flaky like it was bread leftover from last night.
The brownie and cookies was okay at least. The service was quick and friendly enough. The location is on a very busy intersection with a tiny parking lot for 4 restaurants in the smaller complex. Luckily I walked over from a nearby friend house but good luck finding parking here. Mr. Sub has catching up to do on Quiznos and Subway if they want my...
Read moreToday was our first time ever trying MrSub and was very disappointed! We were told by a few friends that it was in fact delicious and better than Subway, so we decided to take a chance.
First of all upon entering it smells just like subway, then looking at the menu and seeing it was very basic nothing stood out any different than Subway.
Second thing was the bread, it not only looked stale but was the driest and most unflavoured stale bread ever!
Processed meat and a lack of veggie varieties was the saddest .
Third: overpriced and a rip off 17$ for 2x6 inch subs?! Should have made my own “sub” sandwich for less with fresh baked bread at home.. lesson learned so to sum it up we will never go back, how is this place still in business? wont recommend to...
