Max Poutine — Restaurant in Victoriaville

Extremely EXTREMELY overpriced for the quality of food that you get if ever you feel like paying 80$ for two cold poutines ...this is the place for you.

I had an Italian poutine with Italian sausages it came basically cold and I picked all the sausages off and put them aside because I couldn't stomach them. They were pre boiled and just thrown on the poutine cold I guess the chef figured the warm spaghetti sauce would heat them up but that was definitely not the case.

Our waitress was very nice and the food was quick but we were basically the only ones there on a Monday. I won't ever be going back there's way too many good poutine places that you can eat at that won't burn a hole in your pocket.

If I had the option of throwing up my food and giving it back to them for a refund I'd do it.

Also instead of having 40 different types of poutines on the menu why not just make a checklist for customers with all the sizes,sauces and ingredients. It's fun to build your own poutine,it's less reading for the customers and less writing for the waitresses. And easier for the chef instead of memorizing 40...

I was in a group school trip today. We were all young teens and our parents had given us money to pay for our food. Everything was perfect until we had to pay. One of my friends from school was going to pay. He had limited cash so he only paid the normal price with no tips. I understand the fact that waitress get paid mostly on tips, but this one began to complain about it. She told us rudely that her pay was only on tips and acted unprofessional and kinda aggressive to my fellow classmate who literally couldn't pay. She kept going and even went to complain to my teacher and mom that we didn't tip. Which was a lie cause two of us (out of 3) did leave her a pretty good tip. She guilt tripped them into tipping her more. Rude and manipulative. Will never be...

Good poutine, but if you go there after a night out and expect a quick in and out snack before going to bed go elsewhere, I waited literally more that an hour for a poutine, when all I wanted was not to go to bed on a empty stomach, it kinda changes your plans when you pay for your meal before you get it and you’re held in a restaurant for an hour before getting served a simple dish that is prepared in many other places in less than 15 mins, staff was overwhelmed and according to our waitress there was only 2 guys in the kitchen... but the place was full... little mistake in...
