A&W Canada — Restaurant in Virden

I used to go here almost daily until Valentine's day. A friend had put in an online order for my kids (she babysits for us) plus hers as a nice treat for supper and when I went to pick it up after work the staff was point-blank rude and extremely argumentative. After about a half hour of waiting for someone to talk to me after I explained what I was there for (they had just turned and walked away out of the blue!) I ended up having to lean over the counter to get someone's attention! And even then all they told me was just to order it all over again because apparently "they didn't receive payment for the order". It was a $50+ order! No! My friend called her bank and confirmed the amount WAS taken out when she had ordered the food (at 12:30 pm). I tried showing the screenshots I was sent of the confirmation but the staff wouldn't even look. At 4:30 pm they still "hadn't received the payment"? Not likely.

Never went back and don't plan to. Shame though... When they gave you the right order it was...

Changed from 4 to 3 stars due to quality of the food prep at this location. I live close by and am a fast food lover and have probably poured thousands of dollars into this place. The price is on th high side amd seeing as they recognize me and i pour so much money into them i wish theyd sometimes throw in a free drink or a deal of some sort but i guess they hav to be professional i dunno... The food I’ve gotten here has steadily gone downhill. It’s a disgrace compared to good A&Ws... very unpredictable and often dry and cold. and do not go to brandon shoppers mall anw.. more often then not food is extremely dry n tastes like it was sitting on th counter overnight and i have to take a drink...

Travelling thru, stop in around 6am. While ordering a breakfast wrap and sandwich, decide on two sandwiches instead but was told the wrap was already made (10sec later, before even paying) so we can't change our order. Get our food, the wrap was a tiny tortilla with grey egg, kraft single, bacon, and ketchup. Sandwich was muffin with egg, cheese, ketchup. The egg on the wrap gave food poisoning. Spent too much money on the worst food of our life. Won't return and will probably skip every A&W breakfast...
