Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Virden

Worst BP location I've ever are at. While visiting Virden with my family, we decided to go to BP for supper. BP's is usually a hit with our family but this night it was not. Let me start with saying that the only thing pleasant was the friendliness of our server. We started with waters and we had no idea that virden water is disgusting and tasted absolutely horrible. We asked the question if that was common and she admitted that yeah virden water is terrible and she doesn't drink it herself. So if our server doesn't even drink that water then what is BP doing serving water that a lot of people don't drink? I understand that water is free but you would think that a BP franchise would have higher standards and out source their water to create a pleasant experience for all their customers. Due to this we opted for pop instead which our server forget to bring to us so after almost 10 mintues we reminded her and she brought them to us. On to the food. Shortly after the pop came our starter salads arrived. First let's talk about the lettuce. It looked like it came from the sale rack of expired food in superstore. We had ordered one with onions and one without and both came without onions, and the whole thing was dripping in dressing. Of course by this time we were hungry so we just ate the salads. Next came the entree of cactus cut nachos. It wasn't until this point that our server came over and asked how the first few bites were. Meanwhile we had been eating for almost 10 minutes st this point. We proceeded to explain that my salad didn't have onions and that the nachos were loaded with them which we requested no onions on. She offered to make new ones for us, but the kids were almost done their food and we didn't want to wait around for an entire new plate to be made. We were going on 40 minutes in the restaurant at this point, so no, we didn't want to wait another 15 minutes for new food that was probably going to be mediocre at best. So we asked for our bill and when our server brought it she told us that she didn't charge us for the pop due to the onion mix up. Oh wow, thank you. Maybe our expectations are higher than most due my husband's background in worker at multiple BP locations for many years but at the same time if there is anyone who understands how things go in the restaurant it would be him and he was completely in awe over the simplicity of the mistakes that were made and the lack of effort shown to reconcile them. I think that the quality control needs to be seriously reviewed and changes made from the top so that mistakes like these aren't made, and if they are made, them management must be informed and address customers personally to...

It's a good place to dine if your in a road trip like myself. A reminder to always check your bill

My only 2 feedbacks are: 1st, not sure if this is the staff procedure but we waited 4 to 8 minutes standing and waiting to be seated because there's no visible staff on floor although I could see they have 2 groups of patron eating, but no staff. Even when we were seated and had placed our orders, waitress dissappeared. There are other people who arrived but waited like us for 5 minutes or more coz the 2 waitresses dissappeared

2nd, because the waitress did not have a pen and paper when we ordered, she mistakenly had given me a full size ribs but I only ordered half, and was told I will be charged half of its price because she admitted it was her mistake. Was surprised when we got the bill I was charged the full amount. Sneeky kitchen staff. It was corrected though, coz we saw it lol, but the food is great.

I would love to give 5 star but the experience that I gained is not pleasant. Oh well, I might be back again soon to this place from my road trip and definately they will have a better...

Called for a takeout order of pasta for…Pasta Tuesday ON Tuesday. The person to whom I spoke (the manager on duty) acknowledged it was for takeout without saying anything about ‘dine in’ only (the website clearly states that dine in only is in effect every day this month but on Tuesdays takeout and delivery are at the Pasta Tuesday price).

When I arrived to pick up my order I was charged the full price. The staff are under the incorrect assumption that dine in only for every day is the only way to get the Pasta Tuesday pricing. Even the manager.
