I recently had the opportunity to try Burger King's Butter Chicken Sandwich, and I must say it was a highly disappointing experience. As a fan of Indian cuisine, I was excited to see a fusion of flavors in a fast food offering. However, this sandwich fell far short of my expectations.
First and foremost, the taste was severely lacking. The supposed butter chicken flavor was practically non-existent. Instead of the rich and aromatic blend of spices I was anticipating, the chicken had a bland and generic taste. The promised creaminess and tanginess of butter chicken were completely absent. It seemed as if the chicken had been coated with a dull, artificial sauce that failed to capture any essence of the original dish.
The chicken itself was another letdown. It was dry and overcooked, lacking any juiciness or tenderness. It felt like a rubbery piece of protein, a far cry from the succulent and well-marinated chicken one would expect in a butter chicken dish. The overall texture was unappealing and made it difficult to enjoy the sandwich.
Additionally, the sandwich's accompaniments did not improve the situation. The bun, while seemingly promising, was also disappointing. It was dry and lacked the softness and freshness that would have complemented the chicken.
To make matters worse, the portion size was underwhelming. Considering the price, one would expect a more substantial sandwich, but it left me feeling unsatisfied and wanting more.
The service was also lackluster, with slow and inattentive staff who seemed disinterested in providing a quality dining experience. The overall presentation of the sandwich was subpar, lacking the care and attention to detail that would have made it more appealing.
In conclusion, Burger King's Butter Chicken Sandwich was a huge disappointment. From the lackluster taste and texture to the poor quality of ingredients, it failed to capture the essence of butter chicken and fell short on every level. I would not recommend this sandwich to anyone looking for an authentic or enjoyable dining experience. Save your money and seek out a more reputable establishment for your butter...
Read moreHorrible experience. Went thru the drive thru and ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich meal with onion rings instead of fries, a whopper meal with Mozza sticks instead of fries and a original chicken sandwich meal with an Oreo milkshake. Waited for about 10 minutes for the food so it should be fresh. Drove home to Martensville and unpacked the food...no chicken parm sandwich... Chicken fries instead. Decided to make do with the chicken fries except when I tried them the were cold and dry...definitely not fresh! Decided I wanted my original order so I went back to Warman with the uneaten chicken fries. I told the guy at the counter inside (appeared to be the supervisor or manager) I had ordered the chicken parm sandwich and got chicken fries instead. He looked at me like I was crazy because apparently they aren't selling those yet.. It's just on the menu in the drivethru with the price and everything listed. Okay fine...I still need a sandwich so I order a crispy chicken sandwich for myself, a whopper meal for my son and a whopper for my husband. Wait another 10 minutes, get the food, drive home again, and unpack the food... Minus my chicken sandwich! Again! Now I don't expect people who work in the fast food industry to be rocket scientists but seriously!! To screw up 2 orders in less than half an hour. Definitely never...
Read moreFood is good, staff is awful. Came through the drive thru at night after a concert in the city. They screwed up my order and charged for extra items instead of what I ordered, didn't give me a receipt. When I asked after I paid he told me to go park and he'd get it fixed. 10 minutes later someone else came out and handed me $4, again with no receipt. Didn't believe him on the amount so I asked for my receipt. He came back with it and I pointed out that he did in fact short me. Then someone else finally came back out with the correct amount. Not impressed with the lack of customer...
