UPDATE: I was contacted by a friend I didn't realize works there. Was not her nor her shift. She apologized for her co-workers behavior and of course would like to make things right. She will be discussing with management. I will speak with her soon.
I do appreciate her reaching out.... However am still quite taken back by the entire situation.
CRAZIEST THING JUST HAPPENED!!! Ordered dinner from Pizza Dee's here in Wasaga (not my first time) I've lived here nearly my entire life!!! Was told 5:30 delivery. Called at 5:55 Told maybe road construction was holding up driver....ohhh no wait he is leaving now. Arrived at 6:15 Immediately I noticed a small salad vs the meal size I had ordered (we were sharing) Look at the receipt and had been charged $19.49 for a tiny chicken Caesar salad. I called figuring it had to have been a mistake. I got a salad there a cpl wks ago and it was huge (same as all the other years of getting salads there) Anyhow lady was so rude on the phone. Same one that picked up when I called about delivery status. She Immediately says I said he was on his way should be there soon. I said ohh no it has arrived thank you but i think there has been a mistake... I ordered meal size and this is a small. She says nope thats what we serve.I said for nearly $20? She says Ya thats how much. I replied I have ordered from you guys before no way this is what I received.....it's gotta be a small.... SHE HUNG UP!!!!!!!!! So frickin rude!!!! I called back.... guess what they did. BLOCKED my number!!! YES BLOCKED!!! Are you kidding me?? Just the rudeness alone!!! So disappointed in a business I thought actually gave a hoot about it's patrons!!!! I was going to drive it back and return it for a refund. But thought with the ignorant attitude already displayed that might not be such a wise idea!!! After waiting around 20 minutes, someone randomly walked out from the back asking if anyone had ordered two small pizzas. no name, no system, just guessing. That alone shows how disconnected and disorganized the staff are.
The restaurant was barely half full, maybe one/third occupied, yet when we went to grab our order, it was packed for takeout. The server, who was actively bringing food and cleaning tables for others, didnāt even bother handing it to us, we had to grab it ourselves. When we mentioned we planned to dine in (since no one asked us during ordering), the response was a lazy, āI donāt think you can,ā followed by asking someone else in the back. And the final answer? āOnly if you get rid of the garbage.ā
LoL! Youāre charging $25 for a small pizza, and youāre worried about whether we clean up after ourselves ? while your staff is already clearing other tables? What kind of nonsense policy is that? I wouldnāt leave my trash behind even if you didnāt say anything. But throwing that condition at paying customers just felt flat out rude.
The cheese pizza was overcooked and had no flavor at all. Totally bland and dry. The only reason Iām giving two stars is because the custom pizza was decent. But the service? Pathetic. Disrespectful. Iāve never seen this unwelcoming behaviour in a restaurant before.

My husband had a heart transplant and we decided when he was well enough we would go to Pizza Deeās for a nice dinner.

During our dinner staff was standing directly over my husbands shoulder talking about personal stuff being loud obnoxious and not caring at all about us sitting there. During this, one of the staffs family members came in sat down at the staff table and was being served beer while we waited and waited and waited for our dinner or even to be acknowledged with a glass of water. Our waitress was far too busy with her social life to be bothered with us.
I will say food is still good but sadly this place has gone down hill with customer service and proper restaurant etiquette.
Our bill that night was almost $100 with tip and the environment we were subjected too made that bill hard to swallow. As I said I will not go back as this is the not the first time we have experienced this. This has been going on for years and we have always been patient and forgiving of it.
But weāre done this last visit was absolutely disgusting the way the staff presented themselves.
