Update: further to our review, we got a call from the store rep/manager named “Anju” on the next day and requested that we pick up the same order for the free of cost to make up for their mistake and I insisted to let it go but I was told to try out and update the review if my experience is better this time.

As I wanted to try them out again after a month, I tried to claim the outstanding offer of free pizza on my account and another pizza to be paid for. The franchise owner named “Rakesh”had answered the call and told that we cannot honor the offer provided by the employee who had left and after a lengthy discussion, he offered to do a 50% discount.

The owner told me to update my current review to a positive review and then only I am allowed to collect the Pizza which is really awful as the owner treats our ordeal and believes that we are coming back for free pizza. I told him I can update if my experience will be better this time but he insisted that I update it no matrer what or else I am not going to get a pizza.

We just decided to cancel the whole order where we agreed to pay 50% of the order cost and take our business else where and It’s a pathetic customer service where they don’t stand by their commitment and I advised to check with the employee who offered to serve us again but he responded discourteously by saying that “ she no longer works here and I cannot do anything and leave her out of this and take what is being offered”. He was well aware of this issue and just tried to stall the issue here by blaming the employee. Owner has to correct employee’s mistakes and server customers but however in this store, it appears that when employees corrected the issue, owner is trying to save some bucks by turning away the customers.

Given my personal experience of working in a food industry this behavior is dreadful to serve a returning customer.

Review: Ordered 2 extra large pizza’s, took the order home, noticed they made a mistake with our order. I called them and informed that I am returning the pizza and asked them to prepare the correct order as we understand that mistakes do happen as their service was always great.

When I took the pizza back to them after 20 minutes, the order was not prepared or they din’t even start the correct order as their reason was to check the pizza before they start preparing the order. The returned Pizza was left untouched as we noticed it’s not ours.

We were expecting to pick up the correct order after the hassle of driving 35 minutes “to” and “fro” due to their mistake and the instructions were not followed for the other Pizza as well.

Had to wait 15 minutes again to collect our order and honestly lost...

We thought that this place would be on par with the place in Hamilton with the same name. NOT the same ownership. We ordered 2 x X-Large pizzas and found it odd that they would come in a 14" square box. These are not extra large in any sense and we thought that perhaps there was a mistake in the order. We called the WATERLOO location twice but did not get an answer. Perhaps this was a good thing considering some of the reviews here.

The pizza itself was okay though perhaps a bit over done, and a bit on the bland side, odd, considering that on one of the pizzas, we ordered extra oregano. We also had a choice of thin, regular and thick crust. We chose the latter and shudder wondering how thin the thin might be. Definitely not thick nor chewy.

The pizza alone would bump this review to 3 star. We bumped it down because we did not get the pizzas we were expecting.

We are also a bit concerned about the NON-COVID protocols that we read in the reviews after the fact. Had we read this first, we would have went elsewhere.

We were hoping to find a "go to" pizza place in our area but will continue to go the extra mile to Mario's Pizza for our pizza needs, where you get a better flavour and much, much more bang...

Nice neighbourhood pizza joint. I saw they had Indian style pizzas so I wanted to try that out. My family wanted more traditional pizzas.

The best pizza was the pepperoni - I asked for extra sauce. Even with a few other toppings they loaded up the pepperoni, which was nice, and the sauce was good. I'd ask for it a little more well done if I ordered it again.

They were willing to do a half-and-half tandoori and butter chicken, and the owner recommended the garlic sauce base. The combo of the butter chicken and garlic sauce was nice. Would have preferred a bit more of the butter chicken sauce to balance out the liberal amounts of tasty garlic sauce, but it was still good. Would also prefer a longer cook next time since the Indian style pizzas were less dense with toppings - would be nice for slightly more done cheese and crust to go with the garlic sauce.

My daughter got a small cheese, and she was pretty happy with it.

They were giving all orders free samosas today - delicious! They had a great sauce for those. I also used that sauce for dipping my Indian style...
