Indian spice was our go to place for South Indian food since it open but our last experience was so disappointing.we went on week day and they have offer unlimited South Indian food for 20.99$ we can see on their website. But we went there we ordered that unlimited food and nobody told us price is increase by them and they didn't mention on their QR code menu and neither did their staff mention it.when we paid we saw 24.99$ and we asked them to which they said they didn't update on website and no were else. We felt as if we were cheated. Moreover, this time the food wasn't that great as it was salty and they changed the taste. We will not return again for sure.

Firstly, as I said this wasn't our first visit to your restaurant, but yes, the first time ordering an unlimited deal. We specifically showed the online ad to your order taker who never confirmed the price to us which is something you claimed in your response. Moreover, we raised this after paying the bill to which your staff agreed that updates are yet to come on all the platforms.
Thank you for letting my child (4 yrs old) eat with us however that was something we checked and not insisted on and also appreciated it to your order taker and gave a tip as an appreciation despite how our experience was.
The feedback on taste was given even before the bill came in and hence was never influenced by the amount charged and also especially when we were returning customers who have recommended you to a few of our friends and found the taste saltier than our earlier visits which we clearly mentioned to your order taker while giving the feedback.
Disappointing again as you didn't take that as...
Read moreAbsolutely ridiculous experience. This was my 3rd or 4th time here, and honestly, I don’t know why I kept giving this place another chance. The food is decent — I’ll give them that — and their unlimited dosa offer sounds great in theory. But the service? Pathetic. Every. Single. Time.
The staff have the worst attitude — no basic courtesy, zero understanding of customer service, and a complete lack of professionalism. It’s like they’re doing you a favour by serving you. And don’t even get me started on their absurd rules. Apparently, if one person at your table orders something unlimited, the rest must too — or they’ll force your friends to sit at another table. What kind of stupidity is that? People go out to eat together, not to get split up because your restaurant can’t manage a menu properly.
The way we were treated was unacceptable. We were literally told we wouldn’t be served if our friend didn’t move tables. Unbelievable. No respect, no logic, no service. With this kind of arrogant attitude, it’s no surprise people won’t be coming back. You can keep your “offers” — they’re worthless if the experience is this bad.
Never...
Read moreIf you are craving authentic South Indian food in Waterloo, look no further than Indian Spice! We recently visited and ordered a variety of dishes — samosa chaat, idli vada dipped, ghee masala dosa, Mysore rava masala dosa, and podi masala mixed uttapam — and every single bite was outstanding.
The dosas were the absolute highlight — served piping hot, perfectly crispy, and filled with just the right balance of flavors. Each variety had its own unique taste, and it was clear the kitchen takes real pride in preparing them fresh. The idli vada was soft, fluffy, and soaked in flavorful sambar, while the samosa chaat had the perfect mix of crunch and tangy-spicy goodness.
A special mention to Tasmay, who made the experience even better with his polite, warm, and welcoming service. He took the time to check in on us and made us feel right at home, which is rare to find.
Overall, this was an amazing dining experience, and I can confidently say it’s the best spot in Waterloo for South Indian food. Highly recommended — don’t miss it if you want real, flavorful, and authentic South...
