Double Taste Shawarma — Restaurant in Waterloo

Great place! I would give it 4, but I will explain why the 5 as I have faith they can nail it and be the best Shawarma in the Kitchener Waterloo region! First off the meat, and quality of the ingredients is great, portions are reasonable. They offer great service and are very friendly to everyone which is important.

I'm not sure why other DT Shawarma locations have poor reviews, I see no reason for this location to have a bad review based on the 3-4 times I have been here since they opened.

The one gap I see is I wish the bread was better for the wraps, so far I noticed iShawarma has great bread but their service and meat/rice is not as good. Just my recommendation, but I understand increased costs with higher quality bread, and if most people have no issue then why change it, just giving my input :)

Today, I had a tasty shawarma at Double Taste Shawarma in Waterloo, and it was amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — definitely one of the best shawarmas I’ve had in the area.

This place used to be a good spot, but now it’s not worth it. The chicken shawarma plates are lacking portions especially the lettuce and chicken. You can pay a few bucks extra and get a massive plate of 2 skewers of chicken, rice, Greek salad and naan bread right next door at The Chill Bar and Grill.
