Visited the place on Oct 8, 2023. The waiter, who was serving our group, held burning shisha replacement cubes right above my jacket (which I intentionally hung as far away from shisha, as possible), he dropped burning ash on my jacket and did not even pay attention. The jacket was ruined. The waiter barely said 'sorry', seemed visibly uncomfortable about what happened, quickly disappeared from the view, and never came back. I found him 30+ min later and upon my question 'could you be more careful around people's belongings' and the request to speak with the owner, I was told that the owner is not available and will not be available soon. On my request to call the owner, I was told 'the owner usually does not pick up" "it is useless to call him." The waiter stated that he will pay the damage from his own pocket if I want, because the facility usually does not cover damages like that. The waiter/facility did not offer any complimentary meal or drinks or any other way of compensation to me.
It is just a jacket, but isn't there an expectation to be more careful with fire around people's belongings? I got no formal apology from anyone. I will not go to Pasha anymore. I will call the owner on my own and will post the result here.
Follow up: Called the place. Was told to e-mail the complaint. I did. Have not heard anything back. 🤷♀️ Will update.
The final update: It's been months. I never heard back from the place. Their customer care is, apparently, nonexistent. I will do my best to...
Read moreterrible service. We went there for my friends birthday and we ordered a shisha with ice pipe and there was no pull. We asked them and the guy came and switched out the pipe. Still no pull and it was burnt, so we asked them again if it’s ok if they fix it. He came back said he would switch the whole shisha (both times they tested the shisha and knew there was something wrong). He brought it again and we tried it. After 5 minutes it was burnt. They left no tongs so I grabbed tongs and rearranged the charcoals (I know how to use a shisha as I have a few at home, I promise this wasn’t us being amateurs). Still it was burnt no matter how we arranged it or took off the charcoals. At this point 40 minutes have passed and we still had no working shisha. We had to leave to go home and we are telling them this is not acceptable. This lady and another gentleman is telling us we have to pay, but we tell them all we have had is 5 minutes of burnt smoke. The owner eventually came and after we explained he let us go. But staff handled this terribly and treated us as if we are just trying to dine and dash. We had come here frequently in the past and are regulars. This ruined our night for something that shld have been a simple service. At the end we even told them to try the shisha and see how burnt it is, we were coughing up a storm. They themselves didn’t even want to try it.. I think that...
Read moreRecently visited Pasha Lounge, and our experience was disappointing. Upon entering, we were asked to pay a $15 cover charge without any clear explanation. This fee wasn’t mentioned anywhere, and it seemed unnecessary, as the lounge is not a nightclub. It’s a regular shisha lounge with no food, no alcohol, and no dance floor. Prices for shisha are already quite high, so the additional fee felt unreasonable. There are multiple dishonest reviews that doesn’t reflect this place.
Despite paying the fee, we decided to stay. However, the service was poor. When new friends joined us later, no one came to check on them or take their orders, even after we called for service. The staff seemed indifferent and, at times, disrespectful. Basic requests felt like a burden to them.
To add to the frustration, we had to ask repeatedly for things like charcoals or assistance, and the staff still expected a tip. While I left a small tip out of courtesy for the server who brought us charcoals, I felt it was undeserved given the overall experience.
In conclusion, I wouldn’t recommend Pasha Lounge. If you’re looking for a nice, enjoyable night with respectful service, food, drinks, and shisha, there are better options in Waterloo. This place simply...
