Service was actually the worst I've ever experienced. My boyfriend ordered shrimp soup and spring rolls. I got eggplant and dumplings. They brought out our shrimp soup and eggplant, but then they just forgot about the dumplings and spring rolls (which should have been appetizers) and every staff member there came and sat down to eat. Keep in mind this was around 1 and they are open 11am-11pm so it's not like we came when they were closed. After a little while we finally got their attention and they Jumped up and ran to get the spring rolls and dumplings. The spring rolls were burnt as heck and the pork dumplings were something strange. There was too much dough and it was undercooked and chewy. They were sweet, and there were maybe 3 strands of ground pork in them. We didn't complain, since they ALL went back to eating at their table. My eggplant was good, but my boyfriends shrimp soup? The shrimps were not deshelled. They still had legs, and it was almost impossible to eat them. It was a mess because this is soup were talking about. He had to deshell the shrimp by hand, and get soup everywhere. Not to mention there were way more chilli peppers than shrimp. We're both good with spicy, but NOTHING needs to have more than 20 chilli peppers in it. Would have been cool if they actually described the food . We had to use a translator app to read like half of the menu, as it was in chinese. Even still the words "chicken noodle" or "shrimp bowl" aren't particularly descriptive. Overall, this place is absolute crap. Don't go unless you like overpriced spicy...
Read moreUpon arrival, our server offered us complimentary drinks in exchange for a 5-star Google review, which we found inappropriate as we had not yet had a chance to assess the food or service.
We ordered Singapore noodles and specifically requested that they be prepared vegetarian. Unfortunately, the dish was served with shrimp. While the server apologized and returned the dish to the kitchen, it was clear that they had merely removed the shrimp rather than preparing a fresh order. This was unacceptable given that the food was returned barely warm along with their lack of concern for potential food allergies and dietary restrictions.
Additionally, the complimentary herbal tea was served lukewarm, and the spring rolls were brought out with the main course rather than as an appetizer. Throughout the meal, our server did not check on us to see if everything was satisfactory or if we needed anything else.
While the restaurant itself was clean and attractive, the overall experience was marred by...
Read moreMy partner and I ordered from the China Bowl and the food we received was not appetizing.
We ordered the Beef Lo Mien and it tasted overwhelmingly of smoke and was also way too salty. The noodles were just ok. It was not very pleasant and there was almost no beef in it.
We had the pork steam buns and they were far too sweet. It seemed like a dessert gone wrong.
We also ordered Kung Pao Chicken. It came with tons of sad looking green bell peppers. Neither my partner and I are fans of bell peppers so we were disappointed that the mixed in vegetables were not clearly described in the product description when ordering online
We also got a couple egg rolls. They were fine, but nothing to write home about.
The resturants product descriptions on Uber Eats are horrible, and do not provide enough information.
Overall, we were very disappointed. Not tasty at all. We will not be getting food from the...
