Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Waterloo

i’m not one to write reviews but i feel like it’s more than necessary for me to do so for this location. this is BY FAR the worst tim’s in the region. consistently the customer service skills are subpar at best, the food quality is terrible, and the eating areas are never properly cleaned. I often place mobile orders to this location as it is quite close to work however, they never have my coffee order ready on time and then when I go and wait at the mobile order pick up station, people will literally make eye contact with me and continue chatting to their coworkers instead of offering literally any customer service whatsoever. when they finally acknowledge me they ask me for my name and my mobile order number and then continue to ask me if I accidentally placed it at the wrong location despite me going to this location near daily. not only are the customer service skills, horrible the food itself is trash. more than once, I have ordered farmers wraps and had my hashbrowns still be partially frozen in the middle and cold and the wrap itself is literally just thrown together messily. I’ve also had egg shells in my egg sandwiches before. The food at this location just seems to be sloppily put together and overall super rushed with no care or attention to the quality of the food. The staff clearly do not care to adhere to any of the standards that Tim Hortons used to have. overall, I would just say avoid this location if possible, as it is always an unpleasant...

This store would have had only one star from me if it wasn't for the very polite gentleman that served me other than that this store needs some major tlc or maybe the staff need to care just a little bit about the job. I walked into this location at around 3pm, most staff were congregated in the drive thru having a wonderful conversation by the looks of it. Meanwhile the gentleman serving me was trying very hard to make my order efficiently and quickly, which he could not do as he was being interrupted by other customers that required service. The only staff member that seemed to care was this poor young gentleman. On-top of that I had traveled for about two hours and was in need of using the facilities, which were appalling. I don't have a high standard for most public bathrooms, but when there's toilet paper all over the ground and none in either stalls that is the bare minimum. The men's bathrooms did not have any toilet paper as well as my husband needed to use the facilities as well but what really tops it off is that we returned here at around 7pm after we had gone hiking and the bathrooms were still in the same disarray after 4 hours. I think in general the bathrooms should be checked during shifts customers shouldn't have to ask for toilet paper. I figured it's time for a review on this place and full disclosure, I don't have great things to say sadly but I do still visit it for my morning tea on the way into work. I have been coming her for many years as I live nearby and the service has just gone down hill. The staff don't seem to know how to provide customer service, they barely speak to you when you are ordering either inside or the drive through. They do not listen to orders, I have had to go back several times to have my order fixed or sadly deal with the mistake as it was too late to go back. It's Tim Horton's so the basics like coffee, tea, donuts etc are fine they just really need to work on the staff and training. Also they do not carry some items like sesame bagels.. they did prior to about a year ago.. I really hope they can figure this out. Sadly I have given them some more chances out of pure convenience and it bit me in the butt. I keep hoping one day they will just get the order right. I wish I could say it was one specific person or thing but it’s not. I’m not sure they get my order right more than once a week. You call and they don’t care at all about your issue. I have reached out to head office and yet nothing gets better. Come on Tim Hortons be better at...
