This place remains HORRIBLE, no matter what “new management” or new name they try to slap on - and this time around the issue definitely seems to be the unnecessarily aggressive, non-solution-oriented owner/chef. It’s actually disappointing because the waitstaff is lovely and obviously trying their best in extremely We sat waiting for food for AN HOUR because our waitress told us that someone had to RUN TO THE STORE to get the required ingredients for something we ordered ????? IS THAT A JOKE ??????!!!!!!! The food we did receive after waiting 30 minutes came out cold (2 eggs Benedict, meant to be served HOT). When I asked the waitress, she said it was meant to be served lukewarm. The owner came out (totally unprompted and unasked for) and very apathetically and half heartedly attempted to “resolve” this situation by comping the part of the meal we waited an hour for, and assuring me that with his “30 years of experience as a chef”, that the eggs Benedict was not meant to be served hot. A simple google search reveals over and over that there is no form of eggs Benedict that is purposefully meant to be served lukewarm.
The manager basically stood over me berating me, expecting me to be grateful to him because he himself was the one who ran to the grocery store for the ingredient they ran out of. My partner noted after the interaction that he was livid with how this owner spoke to me, but didn’t want to give him the bait he was obviously looking for by inciting this conversation in the first place. He was simply aggressive throughout the entire interaction, and left by stating something to the extent of “well I see there’s no turning this interaction around”; he didn’t try to turn anything around other than comping the portion of the meal we waited an hour for, and offering excuses - “everybody’s human!!”. We were calmly asking why our food was taking close to an hour to be received, why it came out cold, and why you had something on your menu that you had to run to the store in order to make ?? Brunch service doesn’t begin until 11am, you can’t possibly tell me no one had time to remedy this before opening.
This entire experience has been nothing short of bizarre and horrific. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, CANNOT STATE ENOUGH - GO LITERALLY...

It started with us waiting 15 minutes for a server to come to our table. We had a few pass by our table but did not receive service until I said can we please have someone take our drink order. To actually get our drinks was at least 10 minutes. The place was not busy, maybe 6 tables. I ordered the Flatbreads & Spreads: Crab and artichoke dip, spicy roasted garlic hummus, extra virgin olive oil, select olives, grilled house made flat bread. It came with 2 olives, burnt flatbread and no crab dip. When I complained, the server said they were out of crab & artichoke dip. It would have been nice if they told me that before I ordered.
I told her I couldn’t eat it could I get the calamari instead. I waited 20 more minutes for that to show up, while watching my husband eat his dinner. While I was waiting I asked for a Caesar drink, 5 minutes later she came back and said it would take a little longer because they ran out of Clamato juice and a staff member was going to pick some up. Seriously, why would I wait for that. There are so many great restaurants in the Okanagan, this one is...
