Smithville Tim’s is embarrassing to be our hometown Tim’s. today they made my coffee completely wrong. When I asked him if that looked like what I ordered he answered with yes it does. I was so upset. I asked him to make it proper please. And he got huffy. Then when he brought the second one to me it wasn’t stirred. I asked him to please stir it so the sugar was no longer on the bottom. He said he did then grabbed one of those useless sticks. His fingers were almost in my coffee so I tried to stir it myself and I couldn’t move it as the sugar was all at the bottom. So another team member stirred it for me with the spoon after he tried. One of the girls by the drive through yelled at me and said we r short staffed I in turn responded politely that is no excuse for poor service. Then I had to ask yet again to heat up my muffin. While waiting for my muffin an officer came to the drive through window and they made him pay for his coffee!!! That is so disrespectful. The girl on the floor came over to me and yelled at me that it is no longer their policy to give first responders free coffee or food. I asked when did that become non policy. She couldn’t answer me just yelled at me and kept repeating that they are short staffed and no longer serve first responders with free service!!! I finally cut her off and said You are rude and before I could finish she agreed and repeated yes I am! I am rude! I finished my sentence you need to get off the floor if this is how u treat customers and our first responders! And told her she was an embarrassment to our town and shook my head and walked out. Something needs to be done about our location. This is embarrassing to our town. And our first responders need to be treated with respect again!!! Come on Smithville do...
Read moreThis has got to be the worst tim hortons ever. I feel like supporting American after I go to this place. Number one, ever since they renovated, the staff have gotten more and more slower. Number 2, i don't know if anybody else notices, but the self serve kiosks charge you more on food vs if you go to the counter! Number 3, this place is nice inside, pretty clean and always a seat avaliable. Honestly this place needs a whole new staff base that is trained to make a bagel with cream cheese in under 10 mins. I've waited over 20+ Minutes for a Large DD and a Farmers Wrap. Along with the farmers wrap, they just throw it all together and expect it to taste to the quality it should be. You put a literal drop of Chipotle sauce on it and you send it off to your customers, that's crazy. Overall if a mcdonalds comes to Smithville, I really hope this place goes out of business. I think you should avoid this tim hortons at all costs as it's too expensive and too much time to be waiting in lines in the drive thru and the inside. I've waited over 10 minutes in the drive thru for an iced coffee. I find it still pretty funny how if I PRE-ORDER 2 PLAIN TIMBITS ON THE APP 15 MINUITES BEFORE I GET TO THE RESTAURANT, IT STILL ISNT READY AND THE ONE WORKER STILL ASKS "what are you waiting for?" Ridiculous how this place is...
Read morePlace is normally very busy during peak periods and Saturdays. Many times I've received an incorrect order or missing items such as bacon on a bagel with cream cheese and bacon. This is understandable though as it's a mad rush to keep the drivethru moving. There's also a tendency to not tell you your total until you get to the window which is quite frustrating and just slows the line up down further because now you have to sort the dollars and cents at the window. Yes, I'm aware there's a total at the screen, but it's not always the same or cleared waiting for the next customer before you get a chance to read it through. The trash and recycle bins are on the far left side of the drive thru lanes - being a two lane drivethru, having one on each side would be a nice benefit. The way the main entrance is situated, it's a pedestrian getting struck by a car leaving the drivethru situation waiting to happen. The exit from the drivethru cuts through the main walk toward the entrance and there's usually quite a few people heading in at peak periods from the parking lot. If you're driving, pay attention. If you're dining in, pay even...
