BJ's Dairy Bar — Restaurant in West Perth

When we attempted to place our order, we were only then told that BOTH the grill and "fryer" were out of order due to maintenance. Several apologies were offered by the staff member waiting on us. (A sign stating the limited menu could have been placed on the entrance door!) After asking for other items on the menu and being told that they "weren't available" we settled on two selections - tacos and a wrap. We waited for almost 15 minutes for these two relatively simple preparations to be brought to our table. The food was unremarkable in taste.

I do understand that ice cream is served here, but the noise from the refrigeration compressor units made conversation very difficult. The 'noise' was substantially worsened when the maintenance person came out and discussed with the staff - at length - the repairs made to the kitchen equipment and their "start up" procedures. The volume of their voices was slightly less then a shouting decibel level. Why this exchange could not have taken place in the kitchen or the back of the premises is beyond me. There were NO orders being prepared at that time as both staff members were speaking with the repair person.

Amazing Service as usual! An amazing place to eat if you are just traveling through our little town, or as a regular it's one of our Number 1 places! Food is always warm and fresh, and there are many amazing items on their menu! The buns are always super soft and fresh, the veggies are always crisp, and the selection of fries are amazing! My go to are these Cheeseburger Fries and the Garlic Parm Fries! The are great if you are a picky eater like myself, and do not like Onions. If you mention it, it will not appear in the food! Price was is great! You certainly get your money's worth, and the portion sizes are much larger in comparison to a fast food chain. The staff is always super friendly, and our family works from home during these crazy times, so it is super awesome that they offer delivery. I can't even imagine how difficult it must be to be a small business owner during these crazy times, but they always have a smile on their faces! Thank you...

My coworkers and I had lunch here today and we really enjoyed our lunch. The time was roughly 15 minutes to get our food made after ordering it and it all tasted fresh and was much better than our experience at Hicks and 101 Grill. They also have dairy treats as well in addition to quite a few lunch options. We had burgers, quesadillas, fries, wraps and fried pickles and everything was really good. The lady running the place was also very nice and personable. We will be returning here for lunch for future visits and I highly recommend this place. We are not from here and when I told one of the local guys we were working with about BJ's when we got back from lunch they didn't know they served lunch and thought it was more of a dessert restaurant, but it is more of a diner like experience, but better. You can't got wrong if everything is as good as our food was...
