Editing review after response from the owner. Thanks for your rapid response and clearing up why there was a long wait. I've upgraded my review to 4 stars for your quick response with explanation. However, instead of expecting customers to tell you they are in a hurry (we were not but certainly were not expecting a 40 minute wait for a sandwich), maybe as a courtesy you could inform customers of the longer than usual wait time before taking their order. Had we known, we would have understood and just grabbed a pastry or something and left. Honestly we thought the first time was a one off so were taken aback that the second visit took even longer. All that being said, I must say the blt sandwich was probably the best I've had at a restaurant anywhere so kudos for that.

No complaints about the food as it is quite generous and equally excellent. However, we've been there twice and each time only ordered the blt sandwich. The first time it took 30 minutes and the second time it took 40 minutes. Not sure why it takes so long but make sure you have plenty of time to spare if you have any local appointments. We had a tee time at the golf course and just barely...

Pizza is my bag. I love pizza. Not chain pizza but real pizza made with long fermentation and quality ingredients. I was suprised to find one of the best pizza I have had in Canada here. The dough was leavened natural with a sour dough culture yet they were able to create lots of gas and a good rise on the edges, leaving a beautiful crisp crust with lots of pockets and webbing. The sauce, which wasn't just tomatoes, salt and olive oil(classic neapolitan pizza sauce)was unexpectedly balanced and tasty. The fior di latte (low moisture mozzarella of highest quality) was just the right amount and cut the acids in the sauce perfectly. This place isn't a Pizzeria but they do have amazing pizza. They also have amazing bread, doughnuts, pastries, breakfast(with real maple syrup), sandwiches all literally made from scratch. Totally a hidden gem. GO...

Popped in for a sandwich to go. Wow, very impressed. Fresh baked bread and goodies DAILY! Ordered a ham and salami sandwich on whole grain. Oh my. Everything about this sandwich was top notch. The meats, fillings and that bread!! This thing has to weigh 2 pounds and was presented wrapped in butcher paper. I love it ALL!! Decided I needed to bring some treats back to work. So much to choose from...went for the cinnamon buns. Rodeo girl waitress said they will be the best I ever had. She is correct! And they were still WARM. My workmates all agree. The best cinnamon buns! Not too much cinnamon, very soft and comforting dough, with enough firmness for a good chew. ...and some caramelized bits from the pan bottom. Yup. Totally the best.
