5 stars because local places like this deserve more exposure especially when the staff are so friendly and prompt. The food and drinks were delicious and good quality. We had the lakeside lager, grapefruit radler beertail (beer cocktail), ceasar (asked for it spicy - if you like spice you won’t be disappointed) and a flight (upper Rideau blonde ale, Westport wheat, spring street sour, beaver pond trail brown ale)
Favourites / you need to try soft pretzel with beer cheese (it was so good we ordered 2) flight is you want to experiment/ experience new flavours lakeside lager upper Rideau blonde ale beaver pond trail brown ale (literally tasted like coffee but is super light - great in a small amount recommend trying in a flight)
Menu items you won’t be disappointed by Cesar Grapefruit radler (light and crisp for a hot summer)
Give this place a visit- it’s worth the stop and you’ll leave a happier person with a 6 pack in hand because you might as well pick up some up to take back to the...

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Gogarty’s Pub! And a bonus there was a live band playing outside on the patio. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home.
The food was delicious — hearty pub fare done right, with fresh ingredients and great flavour. We were there during lunch time and the waitress let us know that the kitchen was backed up. 20 minutes-no big deal for us! We never had any issues.
Whether you’re stopping in for a casual lunch, dinner with friends, or a pint and some live music, Gogarty’s hits the mark. The drink selection was excellent too, with local brews and classic favourites.
What really sets this place apart is the vibe — it’s got that small-town charm with the energy of a great Irish pub. The live music was the cherry on top, creating such a fun and lively environment.
We’ll definitely be back — this is a must-visit if you’re anywhere near Westport. Highly...
Read moreFrom Ireland originally and was super excited to go to Westport Village from Ottawa. I saw on the map they had a brewery there too, so I tried to visit it yesterday at around 5:05 pm with my in laws for a beer and to buy some of their cans if we liked it. Now having worked in the industry myself, I get that it's nice to close early especially on a long weekend, but we only went inside as we saw people in there chatting and the door was wide open. If you're going to close early, maybe close up shop to keep the punters out. Very disappointed we didn't get to try it out. We ended up going to Bridge Masters in Perth, where we were treated very...
