I was waiting for my order and I wasn't aware that I was making a noise with my cap (mindlessly tapping when you're impatiently waiting for something). The manager, I learned his name is Frank (oh I found out too that he is the store manager, just wow McDonalds, really!) rudely told me to stop. I mean it wouldn't have been a big deal for me if he walked up to me and told me that I've been doing something I should stop doing, like a normal and decent human being would. But he was passing by going to the drive thru window and suddenly hissed at me, saying "DON'T" and walked away. Moreso, this is in front of other customers and employees!
Mr Frank, I worked in the food service most of my life and I know there is a nicer way of saying things especially to customers (you are in the service industry, for crying out loud). It's disgusting how people like you have no idea, not just about proper customer service but also human decency and to think you are the store manager. It makes me wonder how you became the store manager, when you don't even know how to speak to customers properly (and being the store manager, you are the role model to your team). I wonder if the owner makes you accountable for actions like this or you always get away with your rude behavior.
Do better McDonalds, in checking your people esp the ones who lead your teams like Mr Frank! If I own that store, I wouldn't entrust it to (someone like) Frank. If he is rude to customers with simple things; if he doesn't know proper customer service, you should start thinking what else he is...
Read moreWe were driving home from Regina and decided to stop for a bite at McDonald's to treat our son. We went to the McDonald's in Weyburn and I don't think I'd ever want to go to that establishment again.
We ordered a cheese burger happy meal for our son to find out they were sold out of happy meal toys (I've never heard of that before). The edge of his bun was dried out and the burger was quite cold.
I ordered a poutine and there was barely any gravy it was cold including the fries, cheese was barely melted and the gravy was chunky as though they scraped the bottom of the pot.
My husband ordered a chicken wrap with extra bacon. The bacon was hard like a rock and there was probably half a jar of mayo on the wrap.
The establishment was very dead for 6pm which makes it hard to understand why they would serve such cold and embarrassing quality food. With it being dead at this time it was surprising the amount of dirty tables throughout the restaurant. Save your money and support a different...
Read moreHaven’t even had a mediocre experience at this location recently. Every time I order there are multiple mistakes with my orders. The tags are usually correct on the burgers. For example, I order no onions. The tag on the food will say no onion, yet they are covered with onions. Last week I had some family down and we ate from there a few times as we were working on renovations from morning to night. Each of the 3 visits had issues, one meal only 1 of the 4 McDoubles actually had no onions. We were missing at least 1 order of fries each visit. We were also given wrong drinks a couple times.
The one time we actually caught the mistake before we were home we went inside to address the issue and the manager couldn’t have cared less. They did give us the correct order eventually, but not so much as a “sorry for the...
