Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Whitbourne

Their system of how they serve customers is absolutely atrocious. I have seen a more functional kitchen amongst toddlers. There's hardly ever anybody on the register or taking orders, causing a line to build up with a wait time of 10 plus minutes for even a small order of 2 coffees, with no customizations or specifications. The food itself isn't even well done, while I'm aware the whole point of fast food is that it's fast and convenient—both of which this place isn't—its inexcusable for how sloppily they make it. You're waiting ten minutes for a two bite wrap that is either 99% sauce or bone dry, no in between. The only partially good thing about this restaurant is it's hygiene, which is quite literally the bare minimum of what you would expect out of a restaurant. Bathrooms are clean, however they're nearly inaccessible due to the lines. I pity the workers who have to come in to this place, be evidently understaffed, and get yelled at by customers for things out of their control. This doesn't excuse the inadequate efficiency, but it is a reason. It's understandably busy due to its proximity to the highway, which is why they should hire more staff.

We stopped there early in the morning on the way out from St John's. I ordered a breakfast croissant with sausage ,no cheese I watched it come up on the screen so I know it was right. Got out in the truck and it was the wrong order it had bacon and cheese. So I went to bring it back in, another customer looked at me and said they always get orders wrong here. I told the worker that my order was wrong and she said I never took your order. I said yes I just ordered it. Another guy came over and said did you order that a couple of days ago. I said no I just ordered it then. He said drive Thu? I said from her. She said I never took your order. I said yes you did just then. No I never she said. Then the guy said I have to check to make sure you did order that .So they looked at the screen, then he said what do you want. I told him again. They made me another sandwich. He looked at me and said make sure you check it this time because obviously you never checked it the last time. I was shocked said thank you and walked out. But thinking back now, I should have gotten management because he did not have the right to take to me or anyone like that. It was there...

I just left tims at 679 trans canada highway, whitbourne, NL. It's 11 o'clock at night and I've been driving a while. I entered the restaurant, and there appeared to be no one there. I listened and could hear staff in the back. I called out, and no one came. After 10 minutes, someone came out from back to attend to a drive-through order. Another worker came out to also attend to the drive through order, and I was again ignored. I waited another bit, waiting for the individuals to finish the drive though order.
