Mucho Burrito Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Whitby

Seriously disappointing. I have gone back time and time again, but the reduction in the portion size of the meat (and other toppings) is beyond ridiculous at this point. I always order a minimum of 3 burritos and they basically sprinkle toppings on like they're measuring every shred of cheese. I paid an additional $3 just to get a little more meat on one of the burritos, the amount they USED to add. Under new management, it's unbelievable how cheap they are, not to mention prices are way higher. I understand prices have increased everywhere, but not with significantly smaller portions.

Today I paid $43 for 1 regular size burrito and 2 small burritos. One burrito only had cheese, chicken and beans, they could have been a tad more generous with some of the other toppings (you are now limited to 3!.) I used to order from the kids menu for my son (who is a child!) but the portions got so small, that I started to order off the regular menu for him, which is now also a joke.

They won't be getting my business ever again. I refuse to be ripped off time and time again. This is exactly why businesses fail! Lastly, some of these reviews are FAKE! What a "coincidence" that at least 5 of them have the name...

We placed an app order on a scorching hot Saturday afternoon. We ordered a chicken burrito bowl and 'Mucho' chicken burrito.

Arriving at our scheduled pickup time, the restaurant was nearly empty but the gentleman behind the counter informed us they had been slammed with mobile orders and our order wouldn't be long. They were making fresh veggies and grilling chicken breasts for our order as we walked in, it doesn't get get any fresher than that.... Our orders were prepped quickly and we were off.

The bowl and the burrito were pretty great, although, the burrito had brown rice instead of the cilantro lime rice which was requested. Otherwise, they were made to order. We were happy with the quality of ingredients and and the flavours of our food, the ratio of chicken to everything else in the burrito was a little skimpy, it was tender and juicy however. I don't get why guacamole is always an upcharge at burrito places...

We enjoyed our food, the restaurant was tidy and service was friendly and prompt. We will return...

Nothing but bad experiences at the Mucho in Whitby. Last night we placed a Skip the Dishes order at 5:20pm; we got a call from Mucho Burrito at 6:30 pm saying they were out of chips for the kids meal. My husband asked if we got a discount, the lady replied, no, and told us they were very busy (not our problem). They basically just called to tell us we weren't getting part of the meal but were still paying regular price. Eventually they threw in a cookie. Note the time - it had been over an hour. Our food showed at 6:45pm (we didn't have a big order). The Skip the Dishes driver told us he had to wait there for over 20 minutes. The previous time we went there they were out of chicken at dinner time and there was a 15 minute wait for more. The time before that I asked for no cheese on one of the burritos (allergy), they then put cheese on it and I said no cheese! so instead of making me a fresh one they just scraped off the cheese. Won't be back, would advise to avoid this location. Very...
