5 Stars all around! This was our first time experience with Original Joe's. We are a family of 6 with 4 kids, 4 years old and under. They seated us in the upper level to give us plenty of space. The waitress was kind and timely with checking in on us. We were thinking of ordering a larger chicken finger meal and splitting it up between the kids. They had nice coloring books for the kids where the pages tore out easy. The restaurant was clean and the music was tasteful. Even the kids were head bobbing to the good ol rock n roll!
When the food arrived, they already split the chicken finger order on 4 different plates for the kids! My ceaser salad was amazing my A.C.E Burger was absolutely delicious (glad they gave a knife to eat it easier) and the classic fries were a perfect touch.
What I appreciated the most was the sense of teamwork front the kitchen staff and servers. Another waitress noticed some of our plates were empty and picked them up. The synergy was a pleasant sight.
Lastly the dessert was a great way to finish the day. I had the cinnamon bun cheesecake, which was amazing and light. But I recommend the brownie with ice cream. I gladly finished off the kids plate.
I believe we found a new date...
Read moreThis ruined my day. 2 hour drive to Whitecourt to empty our storage unit. 4 of us went to Joe's after loading for almost 2 hours. I ordered the Pacific rim noodle soup. Was marked as a favorite on the menu. Was terrible. The chicken looked like tofu and was rubbery, very bland other then the salt from the broth. I couldn't even eat it. My youngest liked the nachos but had to pay $6 on top of the original $15 for beef on it. My oldest ate his burger and my hubby who'll eat anything wasn't a fan of his chicken club wrap either, left half on his plate. (He's a big eater and we hadn't eaten today) The fries and gravy were good, but that's about it. The service was good and the server asked if I wanted something else but we faced a 2 hour drive home and I didn't feel like waiting for something else then have my family watch me eat it. So now I get Kraft dinner or a can of soup as we're living in our trailer (just bought a quarter section) with no power yet. Thanks a lot! Will...
