Tito's Pizza And Wings — Restaurant in Wilmot

Have always purchased my pizza from here usually they are very good and the staff is nice. Tonight total melt down from them. I ordered the family special, first pizza for my brother is always the same double pepperoni double cheese. The second pizza for my husband and I is always the same extra sauce, pepperoni, green pepper and bacon slices, extra cooked tonight the only difference we added mushrooms. We don’t get the salad or bread so they give us one extra choice for free. Which we appreciate. Pizza comes the pepperoni and cheese one is perfect mine and my husbands not so much, it has tomatoes on it.. Have never ordered a pizza with tomatoes on it in my life. So I called to tell them the pizza was wrong. A lady asks someone else about my order and now tells me I ordered tomatoes , no I said I did not nor have I ever because my husband is allergic to them, Well she says how can he be allergic to tomoatoes and yet you get extra sauce I said mame in 18 yrs of marriage he has never eaten a tomato, (and for her information the tomatoes sauce is boiled and the tomatoes on the pizza are fresh and then placed in the Oven for a few minutes the acidic value is higher then in the sauce which is also processed and I don’t think I should have to take him to the hospital when he breaks out in hives to make this woman happy)well she says every time you call you complain, I said that’s not true I have called many times and offered my compliments for your pizza. And my husband and I have been ordering from you for years. She is now telling everyone in the place my husband is allergic to tomatoes yet orders extra sauce and I can hear the other staff laughing and she comes back to the phone and is still arguing about him being allergic to tomatoes and having extra sauce . I finally said In a loud voice all I want is my pizza and you can have this one back it’s not a big deal and I don’t understand why I have to explain why he doesn’t like tomatoes. Well she says we want to know what’s wrong, the tomatoes are wrong please send my pizza and I hung up. Pizza finally comes its barely cooked, but more importantly there are no bacon strips on it nor was there any on the one with the tomatoes. So yes dumb me I call back and a gentleman answers and I said” I know the first pizza was a big thing,but can I ask why this one as well as the one that was wrong has no bacon strips on it, he now holds the phone and yells to someone “ she is on the phone yelling again” a man now comes to the phone (Chinese)I believe and starts yelling at me that I didn’t order bacon strips yes I said as well as hot sausage,pepperoni,green peppers and mushrooms with extra sauce. He now begins to yell at me l know where you live I am coming to your house,I said are you threatening me? I am coming to your house I know where you live, I asked again are you threatening me?I am bringing you your money I said I don’t want my money (I paid $40.15 by the way, but-gave $45.00 so the driver gets a little something as we always do). I have the right to call when there is a mistake. He continued to yell at me that he knew where I lived. I am 53 yr old professional married woman I did not yell at anyone except raised my voice with this woman about tomatoes versus sauce. I didn’t yell when the second pizza came and the strips were missing. I simply called and asked why they were not on the pizza. I am deeply hurt and shocked about the treatment I received tonight. We probably spend over $80.00 /month there and as a paying customer I have the right to call when the pizza is wrong or the dough is under cooked. I think that is one of the luxuries of paying for dinner?? I also believe in calling if it is a take out dinner and giving compliments which I have done to this establishment several times. And believe me it is not about getting something free could care a less it’s about good customer service and not picking a fight with LOYAL CUSTOMERS WHO WHO WORK HARD FOR THEIR MONEY!! The Pizza is 5 Stars, But Where is Tito?

Tito’s Pizza in New Hamburg? Elite. Legendary. Life-changing. The kind of pizza that makes you sit back, close your eyes, and rethink your entire existence. The cheese? Perfectly melted. The crust? Heavenly. The sauce? Made by the gods themselves. If you haven’t had a slice of Tito’s, I honestly feel bad for you.

But let’s get to the real issue here. Where is Tito?

One fateful night, my friends and I walked into Tito’s, and for a brief, fleeting moment, we swear we saw him. A shadowy figure up in the balcony. Could it be? The legend himself? We all froze, locking eyes like we just saw Bigfoot. But before we could confirm, he was gone. Vanished. Like a pizza-shaped mirage in the desert.

Now, don’t get me wrong. Eating Tito’s under the gazebo nearby? A spiritual experience. The way the warm, cheesy goodness mixes with the fresh air? Almost romantic. If you bring a date here and they don’t fall for you, that’s on you.

But here’s why this review isn’t five stars. One time, we ordered delivery, and when the driver arrived, for a split second, we thought Tito himself had finally graced us with his presence. But no. Just a regular guy. A good guy! But not Tito. The disappointment was real.

So until the day Tito reveals himself in all his glory, we’ll be waiting. Watching. Hoping.

We have been loyal customers for a number of years including large orders for family parties. A couple of weeks ago for the first time our order was wrong. We called back and politely asked that it be corrected and we were told we would have to wait for two hours because they were busy. Due to sports commitments we could not wait. They would not refund our money and said instead they would give us the same items free of charge the next time we came in. Oddly enough, since that point, every time my husband or I call they will not pick up. This just happened again tonight at 5:30pm on a Friday evening. I am completely disappointed in the owners. This was their error, and the value of our order was $25. The customer service experience has been horrendous and ignoring our calls is down right ignorant. I have logged a formal complaint with the corporation. It is ashame because the quality of the food...
