Burger King — Restaurant in Winkler

We came here on a random Wednesday mid-afternoon it wasn't busy. We had a small wait to someone came to the counter. The lady who I assume is the manager wasn't terrible not super friendly but very apologetic for the mistakes the other staff members made.

My second impression was ever since fountain drink was watered down well I tried two different ones and then the lemonade which was also watered down. Not a great start on the food/drinks part.

Our order was wrong wasn't a big deal but they gave use an ice cream in a cup but my wife who had the ice cream said it wasn't very cold or tasted very good. Another bad point.( also had bubbles in it)

The burger wasn't the best it sorta tasted old and gave me a stomach however I will say the food was hot.

I probably wouldn't eat here again and I'll caution others who come here to rethink about eating here.

We were desperate for food and didn't know there was a restaurant across the road or we would of ate there.

Again the staff seem very friendly but they need some more training on social dynamics and food handling.

No one was at the till when we walked in. The customer sales Rep was friendly but must of been busy as we felt dismissed quickly before finishing...

Thank you BK Winkler and the staff who worked there August 6th, 2023. I coming in on a Saturday at 9:05 pm and to my horror see that they close at 9:00 pm; the store is empty and there is one more customer inside waiting for his order. After about 2 minutes the cashier courteously informs me that they are closed. I anxiously tell him that my pregnant wife at home (after much for and back) decided that she would like to get food from BK, he lets out a soft sigh and proceeds to ask what I would like. "All I want is some nuggets and fries", he starts laughing and tells me that they got me covered. The nuggets are delicious, the wife is happy, I am alive. Much thanks to the kind employees who stayed longer...

Back in the day you could buy "surprise bags" when you would go to certain stores that sold candy. You didn't know what was in them until you bought and opened them! That's what it's like when ordering at the Winkler BK drive-thru, only its not a happy surprise. Today I ordered 5 various burgers, no combos, no fries, no drinks....just burgers. Only 1 burger ended up being what I ordered....one!!! One of the burgers also actually had 2 tops for buns. And to top it off, we had to microwave our burgers when I got home, they were luke warm at best. Since BK opened in Winkler, they've given me an incorrect order more often then correct. It's frustratingly pathetic that this happens...
