Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Myself and 5 coworkers went for the $15 lunch special that claims to take 20 minutes or less or you will receive a coupon for a free meal. We all ordered from the $15 menu with no modifications. Our meal took roughly 40 minutes to arrive, and when we went to pay, we politely let the manager on duty know that our meal took 40 min, and so we were entitled (according to their promotion) to 6 free meal coupons. He then lied to us and told us that that only applies to tables of 4 or less. I then pulled up the terms on my phone and showed him, it says 6 people or less, at which point he replied, "ya, ya" and left our table, never to return with our coupons. I did not pursue the issue further because I'm not one to make a scene, but I do think that people should be aware of this gross disrespect and breach of trust. Don't create promotions that you are not willing to honour, and don't try to lie to costumers and then completely snub them when they call you out on your deceit. Trying to gaslight your guests is not good customer service......

This was our first time going to this location and we went late at night. We sat on the restaurant side as the people in the lounge were quite loud. They could still be heard on the restaurant side. Service was friendly and prompt. Restaurant was very clean. We shared a caeser salad, I had the chicken parm with vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes, my partner had wings. The salad lacked dressing so it was a bit dry for both of us. Partner said his wings were good as usual. The veggies and garlic mashed potatoes were void of any seasoning (including garlic), butter or even salt. I was surprised. Chicken parm was good, not great. The meat was tender, the sauce on it was just alright. I know we could have asked for more salad dressing or to change the side dishes and the restaurant very likely would have done so. We were just so hungry and tired from moving all day that we didn't bother! So I'm not unhappy with the experience, I just wouldn't recommend ordering those side dishes. I'd come back and order...

Never had such a bad experience with a waitress. BP usually is very kind to their guests but went last night and sat at that bar. Boyfriend got charged $13 extra for his pizza. He was confused about his bill and asked our waitress (very nicely) about the bill. She said it was because he got 3 toppings but when he asked her during ordering how many toppings he could get, she responded " as many as you want", not emphasizing that the toppings each COST EXTRA. When we told her she should have told us that, she said that it wasn't her fault and we should have read the menu. She was so rude and proceeded to tell us it wasn't her fault. Then, at the end, she condescendinly asked us if we "really wanted the $13 back" instead of just volunteering to kindly give it back. My boyfriend and I r nice and we have never had issues with waitresses before, I understand that she was apparently in training, but I've never been treated so rudely by a waitress before.
