I’ve been a regular customer and have always had a great experience with your products. During my recent order, I got cream rolls, cake, and patties. While everything else was excellent as usual, I was quite disappointed with the patties. Before ordering, I specifically inquired about their freshness and was assured they were fresh. However, upon eating them, it was clear that they were not. The patties were excessively oily—as if they had been fried in oil and had an off taste, which raised concerns about their quality and freshness. I’m sharing this feedback not just out of concern for product quality, but also because it could pose a potential health risk to customers. If certain items are no longer fresh or suitable for sale, I would strongly encourage discarding them rather than serving them.
**Answering your Concerns-
1.) You generalized – “Why do people only post reviews when they didn't like something? Why don't they show concern or appreciation when they liked something?” There are many people who have given you positive reviews when they liked it. And for me, I truly appreciate the food in person – that's my way of doing it. Generally, it’s the business that asks for reviews; you never said that to me. If you had, I definitely would have given you 4 or maybe 5 stars.
2.) It’s not about the taste. I wouldn’t have even bothered to review if taste was the issue. The thing is – it made me sick and was clearly unhealthy. Instead of accepting the fault, you seem more bothered about the 2 stars and are upset over it. Stop selling stale food – it can make someone seriously sick. Google has given a platform not only to appreciate good food but also to let the owner know what was missing. If you expect only positive reviews, then make sure your arrangements and quality meet that standard. Otherwise, be prepared for the occasional negative review, and in that case, understand your mistake and work on it. And your way of dealing with the concern absolutely reflect what knowledge you have on customer service and satisfaction part. You could have replied me in a way that my bad experience would have turned good and review would have turned in a positive manner. Again its not the Taste* it was Stale* there is a difference which tend me to lecture ** you here so that you remain accountable to health of other customers.
3.) Next time, accept your fault first. Give me a fresh batch, and if I like it, I will definitely leave a positive review – no problem.
4.) I gave you a chance at that point itself. I asked the lady – “Are they fresh?” She said yes. I took 1–2 bites, realized what it was, and threw it in the bin. After that, I became sick. Your chance was over the moment you lied and still served those patties. I won't be coming back or calling you again for this. Now you have to be prepared for this feedback publicly. And still – what have you done after knowing the issue? Have you accepted your mistake? No. So even if i would have called you , your answer would have been the same. I would be saying they were stale, and you would have said they are fresh. So things would have been same there as well.
5.) If “It’s not right for a regular customer to give low ratings to a business,” then it’s also not right for a business to serve stale food to any...
Read moreExtremely Let Down on Our Anniversary
I’m honestly so disappointed with our experience here. We ordered a custom cake for our one-year anniversary, and what we received was not even close to acceptable — especially for the price we paid $65 .
Not only was the cake not ready on time, but we had to stand around and wait another 30 minutes when we arrived. And even after that, they handed us a cake that was still warm and completely unfinished — the icing hadn’t even set. It’s basic baking knowledge that cakes need time in the fridge to settle before they’re moved. This one clearly wasn’t ready to go.
To make things worse, they refused to deliver it, even though the delay was their fault. As expected, when we brought the cake into the car, the warm icing started to melt, and the whole cake fell apart before we even made it home.
It was supposed to be a really meaningful part of our anniversary, and it turned into a huge disappointment. The original owners of this bakery did such a better job — they cared about the quality and made sure things were done properly. It honestly feels like that care is gone now.
Don’t take over a business if you can’t keep up the standards. Definitely wouldn’t recommend ordering here for anything special. We left feeling frustrated, upset, and completely let down.
Thank you so much for this guys. Good job. . . . PS: I’m quite surprised and disappointed by your response. As a paying customer, I believe I’m entitled to share honest feedback based on my experience — whether it’s positive or negative. Resorting to personal attacks, assumptions, and disrespectful language is not the right way to handle customer reviews, especially when the goal should be improvement, not deflection.
Instead of addressing my concerns, you've chosen to question my intentions and character, which is deeply unprofessional and reflects poorly on your business. Constructive criticism should be met with humility and a willingness to improve, not aggression.
I hope you’ll take this as a reminder that every customer deserves to be treated with respect — and that professionalism is key to...
Read moreI ordered a Rakhri hamper from Mithi Bread on August 8th, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Firstly, the hamper shown on their page was different from what was delivered. The images depicted a hamper with a chocolate-flavored mini cake and a gulab jamun cake, but I received a different flavor along with gulab jamun that was not as shown in video. Secondly, regarding quality and quantity: the photo of the hamper showed many gulab jamuns on the cake, but the one I received had only half a very small gulab jamun and a plain cake inside, which was not fresh. The hamper was quite overpriced at $50, especially since I chose to order for home delivery. However, the actual product did not meet the expectations in terms of both quality and quantity. I am quite...
