Don’t make the same mistake I did, and skip this cute little gem because it looks smaller from the outside. This coffee shop is officially my favourite in Newfoundland - whoever thought of combining a coffee shop and a pottery store is a genius! Sip on delicious local coffee (all their coffee is made with beans from the Gros Morne Coffee Roaster) while you look at gorgeous hand-made pottery and prints. Cute little coffee and art studio! The owner was extremely friendly! I ordered an amerciano, it was smooth and well balanced. There is a nice patio facing bonne bay where you can sit, relax and enjoy the view! There were many cups hanging around the barista's bar and when I inquired about them; they were personalized cups made for "regulars" of the cafe. I found this concept kind of cool! Just too bad I don't live there; definitely would make me feel special if my neighbourhood cafe did that for me :) Also purchased a cute handmade espresso cup with a cod design from here! Our favourite spot in Woody Point! Beautiful art, lovely grilled cheeses and cheese plates, brownies... served on their own unique pottery made on site (you can purchase the only cheese made on the island). I came home with a gorgeous and unique piece of framed rug hooking and 3 blocks of cheese. Staff is wonderful. Loved the artist/owner. Enjoyed sitting out back by the water.
