Answer the phone!!!! You’re the only restaurant in Yorkton that ignores the phone. To-go orders are still business and part of your offered service. Absolutely ridiculous that you’re expected to sit around for 30 minutes instead of just taking the fricken order over the phone. Awful, awful service, especially for how much they are charging. Good job on the food, chefs. Your hostesses (3 of them working) need to figure it out though.. and how is management condoning this? Your website says call, you don’t offer online ordering, you don’t have a voice mail. Pick up the phone, and ask them to hold for a moment instead of ignoring your out-of-towners and farmers who aren’t able to come in and sit. I remember having to run across the restaurant I worked at to make sure I answered the phone. Ignoring customers is bad business. I have eaten there for over 35 years and have NEVER had a bad meal! I ate there yet back in the days when Chris and Iris owned it. They have always been consistent, reasonably priced, have high quality food and, hands down the best restaurant in this whole area. Staff are always friendly and very accommodating. Even with inflation, they are one of the few restaurants that are not price gauging their customers. Their lounge steak sandwich, Ceasar Salad and Frajaloki are my absolute favorites. Iris and Chris's daughter owns it now and she is the best! Classy, elegant, friendly, accommodating and clearly a very good successful business woman. I only wish they had delivery. Second rate food at a restaurant pretending quality. The Greek salad was not a Greek salad but a garden salad with olives and crumpled feta on top. The stuffed potatoes were uninteresting and had a dull planty taste. Frankly, my mother can make them better. Service was wooden and had difficulty keeping my water topped off. In addition they rushed me out presenting me the bill before my meal was finished. The atmosphere was quite nice, I enjoyed the architecture and colour scheme. In conclusion the food is almost adequate and they certainly have quantity. But still a second-rate restaurant....
