Old Gaol Cafe — Restaurant in Propose Queens Jubilee City Limit (Study Area)

Reasonably priced, solid local dishes in the busy waterfront/tourist trap cruise ship zone. Their menu has conch (ceviche, fritters) as well as turtle soup and turtle burgers (farmed of course since turtles are endangered in the wild)! Plus the usual fare like fish & chips etc. Great place to try local specialties after you have gone through the Cayman National museum that it hides behind. Learn about the history of turtle meat trade at the museum then try it yourself...

BEST TACOS EVER FOR REAL! We were told by friends to get the shredded beef tacos and when we got there they were closing up, but stayed open longer to serve us. Great staff and beautiful location not far from the port. Cannot recommend this...
