We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating a close friend’s birthday at The Brasserie, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Known for its incredible farm-to-table concept, The Brasserie truly lived up to its reputation.
We kicked off the evening with a champagne toast, setting the perfect tone for what was to come. Virginia and Simone graciously shared their insights on the menu, which made choosing our dishes even more special — you could tell how much care and passion goes into every plate.
The food was nothing short of outstanding. Every dish was beautifully prepared, fresh, and bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to the desserts, each bite felt like a celebration of local ingredients and culinary creativity. The service was equally exceptional — attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming.
One of the highlights of the evening was getting a garden tour of the restaurant’s on-site garden. It was such a unique touch to see where so much of the produce on our plates was grown, and it made the experience feel even more connected to the island.
A huge thank you to The Brasserie team for helping us surprise our friend and for delivering such a memorable night. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a dining experience that’s both elegant and rooted in...
Read moreWe had heard about this great place in George Town that was known for using their own gardens and fisherman for fresh to the table meals so we booked a reservation for our wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. For an appetizer, we decided to try the pumpkin & coconut soup and were amazed at the giant bowl of soup served and it was so unique. For my entree, I decided to go big and get the lobster and it was so fresh and soft. It was served with roasted pumpkin, kale, peppers and 'brasserie' hot saurce beurre blanc. It was so huge that I gladly shared it with my husband. He ordered the Roasted red snapper and was also delighted in his choice. We were so full after dinner but decided to go for dessert as well. I had ordered the cannoli with a honey sauce and ice cream and my husband ordered a brownie with the Barrington Espresso ice cream. We were blown away when our waitress remembered it was our anniversary and had it drizzled on our dessert plates complete with a candle. This place is not highly advertised in Grand Cayman but it doesn't need to. The experience and flavors...
Read moreAllow me to start this review off by saying this place is absolutely spectacular. The staff is so friendly, they made sure my family and I had a wonderful experience with them and never settled for anything less than perfection. I personally felt as though the best part being everything is fresh to table. They share the details behind the operation such on how they have their own garden for fresh vegetables, they own multiple bee hives across the island, they catch their own fish daily, ect. As a paying customer, I appreciate the hard work that goes into making the food as best as possible. For appetizers, we ordered the tomato and burrata salads along with the grilled cheeses which were made beautifully. For dinner, I ordered the 8 oz beef tenderloin and it was delicious. Not only is the food great, the drinks are too. I ordered a coconut mojito and for dessert I had an espresso martini paired with the gelato sundae (which is also amazing, highly recommend!!) In conclusion, I had a great experience dining with them and hope to again before I leave...
