We had great service even tho we arrived late at night (@ least what's considered late locally ie: most all other food places were closed). The server assured us it was no problem being close to time for the kitchen to close. The music in the lounge (more like a club) was lively and you could tell ppl were having a wonderful time. The vibe was contagious and made our meal more exciting. The music being loud in the lounge didn't effect our ability to speak at a normal volume while eating. It almost felt like we were in a green room (tvs were playing corresponding music videos to the song the dj was mixing next door). Bathrooms were very clean and everything from the kitchen was AMAZING. Highly recommend the garlic shrimp and whole...

There is certainly no Grand entrance to the Restaurant, I'm happy to say that was the worst part of my experience at Sol y Luna. The Dining area is compact but nicely air- conditioned, clean, furnishings were simple but good. Staff was friendly, definite Hispanic flavour. Service was prompt and very courteous. The Menu was a step above what I expected and on par with establishments along 7mile beach. The food we had was well prepared, well balanced, tastefully presented and ample. The pricing range for main courses ran from CI$ 12 into the mid thirty Dollar range. 15% gratuity is added to the bill. All in all, a pleasant first experience, I will be going...

We were excited to go there. Bit its not for the tourists, they prefer only local people. The food were great, but the service was awful. Waitress didn't want to serve us, but she was happy to serve local people. Also, the biggest issue was with the check, where the prices were higher then in the menu. So, be careful or...

Omg I had rum punch which was great ( would've had sangria but they were out, all good though), and there was snapper on the menu and the waitress asked me how I wanted it, I almost fainted. I got it steamed with white rice, salad and tostones and it was just beyond delicious!!!!
