羲和雅苑 — Restaurant in Beijing

Historic building right next to the modern Microsoft. Parking right in front. Sit in the inner courtyard or for small groups there are private rooms as well. Our family of 6 got a room which was very nice.

The restaurant is known for Peking Duck but many other goodies as well. Love that the menu has excellent photos. Makes picking your meal easy. So of course you gotta get the duck. And because you want to use the whole animal may as well get the foie gras and duck tongue.

Also had sweet and sour fried fish which was delicious. There was shrimp in a sweet sauce. Grilled beef was good...

Walking distance from the central of Zhongguancun. The duck is very good, can’t say it is the best in Beijing, but it is one of the best here. The price is not cheap as it is tourists oriented. The staff here can speak good English so foreigners can order...
