Manpengxuan Restaurant — Restaurant in Beijing

Hello fellow tourist! My family came here and as Chinese people visiting from London, we all agreed that it wasn’t the best we’ve ever had. The portions were very very big and very good for the price. The servers are all very nice, but make sure to have a translator for the menu.

The broth generally didn’t have much taste and which made the food all quite simple. The meat was very nice and tender, but again quite plain. I like that you can make your own sauces to jazz it up and add some flavour but the broth itself didn’t taste like much. We got both the spicy and the original broth. we also got some fish balls and tofu which were both yummy and flavourful.
