Food are hits and miss. Some are really bland like the tomato soup beef noodles which I could hardly find any bits of beef as well as the dough that is supposed to mix with the butter and pretty bland cheese bits. The yak dumplings are interesting though sadly the skin is a bit tough. The salad is refreshing but a tad bit salty, will be good if paired with rice or the dough. I asked for recommendations for tastes that are totally different from the usual but alas it taste not much different from the usual beef skewers. I like the beef porridge with oaty nutty fragrance which has beef bits and barley in it. Last but not least, the "butter" tea and the reason I am here, has a unique buttery creamy taste. I ordered the one with walnut which gave it a bit of tiny bite. It's my first taste of Tibetan cuisine with my aged folks who couldn't do a lot of the tougher meat and other considerations, hence I needed to enquire a bit about the different dishes, but to my dismay, as the waitress was taking my order, her other colleague came up to her and exclaimed loudly "still not done taking their orders?"... And while I wanted to take a look at the menu again thinking to add on to my orders, it seems they couldn't be really bothered hence I gave up too. Sad service.
