We decided to dine here today with our family after reading many positive reviews online. Upon arrival, there was a queue outside, but thankfully we were seated relatively quickly. However, the atmosphere inside was chaotic — it felt more like a crowded marketplace than a restaurant. People were yelling across the room, and it was extremely loud.
A woman near the entrance was trying to manage the seating arrangements but did so in a very unprofessional manner. We were seated at the first table, but she continued to shout instructions to others right next to us, completely disregarding our personal space Even though we had our 3-year-old child with us.
I eventually had to ask her to lower her voice and move back toward the entrance. It’s unacceptable to expect diners to enjoy their meal with an impatient crowd hovering around and someone yelling over their heads.
After a long day at the Canton Fair, we were looking forward to a calm and pleasant meal. unfortunately, this place was the opposite. The food itself was mediocre at best: the chicken shashlik was very dry, and the Iskender lacked flavor.

Read moreBosphorous Turkish restaurant, situated in the heart of the bustling Xiabei Lu, Guangzhou, is a true hidden gem. The restaurant is located in a quiet area and offers a peaceful atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy a meal.
The menu features an extensive range of Turkish dishes ranging from appetizers to mains. As a halal restaurant, the food meets the dietary requirements of Muslim visitors. You must try the lamb kebab, grilled fish and Turkish pizza from their menu. However, what stood out for me was the rice and mutton dish which was absolutely delicious.
The service at Bosphorous is excellent, with attentive staff who go out of their way to meet your needs. They are knowledgeable about the menu and always willing to help with recommendations.

Located in the heart of Xiabei Lu, Guangzhou, the restaurant is easy to access, and you won't be disappointed with the food and service. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant, and the rice with mutton cuisine alone is...
Read moreCrazy place, full of noise and no style, everybody is rushing you to order and get out. Waiters are depressed and exhausted. Service is fast and efficient. Prices are very high, for China, even more pensive than in the Arab world or the Middle East. Chicken dish was very bad, chicken was super dry and with absolutely no taste, frozen before obviously, then grilled on top just a little. All salads were excellent and fresh, soup was average, nothing like in Turkey, but not bad. Breads are very good, also lamb dishes are quite well prepared, although not that delicious. We went there for halal food, but will not go back and do NOT recommend the place. Used to be better...
