We went for BBQ at Shek O Beach public BBQ area. It was CNY holiday and the place was jam packed. We had to wait for about 30min. But once we got the BBQ pit it was all fun. There are many shops nearby where you can anything needed for BBQ including marinated meat. You can also carry meat and fish from home. You can buy coal, BBQ neat etc. on the spot. You can also rent beach balls from the shops. Very good place for outing with family and friends including children.

This was my first trip to Shek O beach and it won’t be my last. This is a beautiful clean beach 🏖️ with plenty of room to stretch out. Although, it was perfect beach weather it wasn’t at all crowded. This is a must visit when coming to Hong Kong. They have a private area for personal BBQ. Don’t miss out!

This was my first trip to Shek O beach and it won’t be my last. This is a beautiful clean beach 🏖️ with plenty of room to stretch out. Although, it was perfect beach weather it wasn’t at all crowded. This is a must visit when coming to Hong Kong. They have a private area for personal BBQ. Don’t miss out!
