The Terrace Café — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

The restaurant has saved itself a nice, cushy spot at Ocean Park, Hong Kong. There is a really, really long waiting line at the counter. We waited for over an hour, almost an hour and a half before we got a table for 5. It was hot and sunny and we had a small baby with us for whom it was torture. The restaurant is heavily understaffed. The staff are at the end of their tether in terms of patience and the time they need to give each customer. The food also is nothing to write home about. We had Indian food but the chicken was a little under. The Chinese food was really good. The view from the restaurant is amazing. You can see Repulse Bay from there and enjoy a cool Coke. The good part is even though lunch time was pretty crowded and they took an inordinate amount of time to find us a table, they didn't ask us to hurry up and finish. I also noticed that after lunch time it got better. Café on the sea side, the place is amazing, I'm a vegetarian, so not much information about the menu there, but Indian food is not right here, they do not know what is Indian food, vegetarian food Absolutely poor, and very expensive, which can not be eaten. My wife was feeling unwell at the cafe and was just closing her eyes for a short while and was rudely told off by a waiter in white for “sleeping” at the cafe. Totally rude and evil service staff.
