Nisugu — Restaurant in Hong Kong

We are party of two and decided to order two $148 lunch sets and share different items. The Caesar salad and Buffalo cheese salad and small portion but well coated with dressing. Appetizers we had some kind of bruschetta (tomato bread) and ham croquettes. Both are tasty treats. Main dish we had truffle creme qnocche and it was really good and season well. I enjoyed it alot. Another main dish was salmon roe creme sauce udon, it was good but not as tasty as the other one. We came here initially was to try the churros because we saw it on other social media. However it was not as good as we expected. Sugar and cinnamon powder are not evening spread and personally I think it was abit too sweer. We came at 12:30 noon without reservation but got seated right away and soon the place is full by 1pm. The lunch set menu actually was half japanese menu and half western. The japanese set was cheaper (around $100) also and I see most people are ordering them and they look pretty good. The environment is comfortable and not rushing us. Staff are friendly and nice. #toast 473 — im always on the look for new French toasts in the city and this was the newest addition to Sogo in Kai Tak. Out of the three flavors on their menu, I went for the crème brûlée toast as I think that it seems to be the only one that has been in the menu consistently compared to the other flavors?

I’m not the biggest fan of custard but the french toast itself was warm and soft. Pillowy. The issue with custard itself is that I think it could taste a little one dimensional and just sweet, sugary — and can get boring after a few bites. I think next time I would like to try their pistachio sea salt cream toast or their berry toast instead considering their French toast base itself was quite good.

attracted by the view, and picked this restaurant but their nightview is a but disappointing sad, luckily not that cold at that night

Mentaiko Crabmeat Egg Roll is soso yummy, the taste is so attractive, i like mentaiko sauce and egg roll is so soft, such a good choice for tonight haha

Seafood Paella is so disappointing, the taste is so light, and the seafood don’t have strong flavor at all and the shrimps are so small lol, can simply skip this one

The food quality is pretty diverse but i indeed like mentaiko crabmeat egg rolls lots haha super yummy one
