Beautiful setting overlooking the harbour. It's an ideal location to have a fancy dinner and drinks. They serve Mediterranean food with some vegetarian options, which was key for me. We had the hummus with a pita, spiced fries, grilled eggplant and grilled chicken. All of them were delicious. The hummus was smooth and freamy with lots of paprika and a bit of olive oil. The pita was made fresh which is good on its own but wonderful with the pita. The fries were also crisp with a nice seasoning which I couldn't make out, but were a great appetiser as we waited our mains. I loved the grilled eggplant. The charred taste really accentuated the dish, which was covered in crushed pistachio and had a tahini dip that brought it all home. Finally, I can't speak to the chicken, but it smelled lovely, had a nice fresh-from-the-grill look and smell. Overall, the food was excellent. We were seated at the rear of the restaurant on bar stools. The service was friendly yet at times we felt forgotten and had to fetch refills of water and ask for the check. There are plenty of mosquitoes so be prepared. Lastly, that area can smell a bit, best not to sit by the walkway. I'd definitely recommend this place for the food and relaxing atmosphere. Make a reservation, though you can...
ย ย ย Read moreLovely seaside ambience and views of the waterfront. Super chill vibes that feels like Bali in Lamma. Beautiful decor. However, I would not recommend dining here if value is a priority and you're hungry! In my opinion the food prices do not align well with the quality, and the portions..
Unfortunately, our second order of pita bread arrived burnt (the first one was perfect) while they quickly replaced it I was surprised it was able to leave the kitchen (pieces were completely burnt black on the sides). The 'aoili fries' were well seasoned with garlic aioli flavor but soggy in texture. I wasn't convinced they were homemade. The small plates were indeed petite in size. Though the grilled asparagus and eggplant had strong flavors and were grilled perfectly, the two dishes lacked distinction from one another. They tasted quite the same.
Tables were way too high for average Asian height and my mother and I struggled to eat comfortably with the plates almost at neck level. Looking around most of the other Asian guests seemed to experience the same. The staff are warm and friendly with big smiles. This restaurant shines in ambiance and has thoughtful details but I didn't feel it was good value.
The cocktail was great. I'd come back for...

Welcomed by friendly staff, we arrived sharply at 12pm as walk-in. We were super lucky to take up the last walk-in table closer to the furnace, or we would need to take the terrace seats facing the strong sea breezes (it was below 10 degrees on the day of our visit!). Online bookings are highly recommended!
