What if you find a queued Cha chaan teng? You will immediately search what make this restaurant special right? That’s how I unlocked this treasure.
Located on a small mountain, quite a long way walk from the nearest subway station but still long queues at night. What makes this Cha chaan teng special is they make clay pot rice. Many places will offer claypot Rice in winter, but their favourite must be the satay noodle in claypot.
When it’s served it’s boiling, you can feel the heat from the think satay soup. When you have it with instant noodle you can feel all soup cover on the noodle itself - it’s surely the Hong Kong style tsukemen!
My friend and I have also order the golden oyster and dried shrimps claypot rice. I am shocked by how much they put the shrimps, and how good is the golden oyster with the claypot rice. It will undoubtedly one of my pick from various choice of claypot rice.
Last but not least I want to talk about the drink I have ordered. It’s not simply a coke, but it goes with dried salt plum. It taste like a sorbet of a full course meal and make you to eat more for the main courses (aka the claypot noodles and rice)
All in all It’s a good place for claypot food, despite you may have to sit narrowly....

The beef is tender and soft, taste very yummy and in a reasonable amount commensurate with the price of $70.
The satay sauce is very thick and delicious. However, the taste will become stronger and stronger when you are taking the noodle.
The location is a little bit odd to get there if you do not live, study or meet...
Read moreI love instant noodles and I especially love Wing Kee’s one-of-a-kind satay instant noodles in sizzling hot claypot (沙嗲煲仔麵). What makes it so good and so addictive was not only because of the chewy noodles but their satay peanut soup was exceptionally creamy, silky and tasty!
If you have room after the satay noodles, do try their french toast! I love the thin layer of peanut butter in between the two toasts.
Since Wing Kee is a cha chaan teng, I wasn’t expecting much services, however, to my surprise, the lady who served me was extremely caring. She even offered disposable aprons for my friend and I since the claypot was...
