Beans Be Water — Restaurant in Sha Tin District

Beans Be Water is a local cafe at the Ma On Shan Plaza in Ma On Shan that is part of the Beans Restaurant Group that has seven branches around the city. This restaurant is open from 8am to 10.30pm daily and offer a mostly western cuisine and dessert menu for casual dining. They have a fair sized seating area. Patrons can also order take-away and delivery through deliveroo if you prefer to take your meal within the comfort of your area office or home.

I recently ordered from Beans Be Water, my lunch was delivered in 53 minutes. I ordered the Smoked Duck Brest sandwich with truffled sauce, which was not very good. The duck breast had the texture of sausage, the sauce didn't have truffle taste and the bread was hard as a rock, probably a day or two too old. This was just not a very good sandwich. Fries sent with the sandwich and ginger tea were both just fine.

Nice comfy space to be in and eat, food isn't outstanding I would say but better than average (out of 10, if 5 was average I wod say 7). Reasonable price though staff is an issue, their attitude is okay and I feel some hospitality within, but problem is they don't really care from my point of view. None of the staff came by and offer to help us take our order and we had to call on to someone but they didn't come straight away either. Some food wasn't clear on what was in it, I ordered a cake not knowing there was alchohol in it. But otherwise it's a reasonable place to eat. But just note if you eat below $200 they will not accept...

Came here on a Sunday morning with a group of five. This restaurant was good in that it followed the governement Covid protocols and split us into two tables. The food was fairly reasonably priced and was an OK quality for the area. However, the service was quite slow and it was almost half hour between the first dish and the last dish between the five of us.
