Chung Chi Tang Student Canteen — Restaurant in Sha Tin District

I stayed at the Hyatt regency hotel. Close to the university underground stop. I didn't want to eat every night at the hotel so decided to try this place. Can tell you I loved the food and especially the value for money. Most dishes where 25-30HKD. You order in a line then take your ticket receipt to the appropriate counter. The food was all delicious from my point of view. And you have a lovely view of the duck pond if you decide to sit out front on the patio. Overall I was really glad I went here and saved some money on food instead of eating at the hotel...

Except for upstairs the ramen upstairs is one of the worst I ever had, only slightly less worse than that of United College canteen

Also the chicken hot pot is quite nice but you should eat it with more than two people, also at the end it becomes mega greasy. It's so good at the beginning tho. The bus ride back after this hot pot did...

They have some good food and also some not so good ones. I specifically like the barbecue dishes but the others are just okay. There are lots of seats but still gets full easily when it's near lunch or dinner time. The venue/view doesn't look as good as the other CUHK canteens but it's very convenient if you have classes downhill and it's near the MTR. The prices are reasonable...
