BIG BAMBOO金桥店 — Restaurant in Shanghai

We were seated quickly and service at the beginning was very quick. I had a nice Erdinger Weissbeer and ordered the Pad Thai. My entree came out very quickly but my friends food took another 10 minutes. They should plan better in the kitchen to bring food out at the same time. Getting the check also took extra time since the waitress was not paying attention. Overall, for a quick night out, this was a nice place. Not sure if I'd go again since there are a lot of other options to try...

I was looking for the NHL playoffs and this bar was exactly what I wanted. They had the game on multiple TVs, reasonably good food, and they are open in the mornings with a breakfast menu when US sports events are on. The staff speaks English so it's a really good place for an American to enjoy watching a game. They also have the ability to turn a speaker near your seat to play the sound of the game you want.
