Starbucks — Restaurant in Shanghai

Usual Starbucks coffee with bad service though. Asked the barista for sugar & she kept pointing to the counter where it’s supposed to be but the containers were empty. I told her there’s none as best as I could but she just kept pointing to the same spot. Finally, she stepped out to check and saw indeed it was empty. She just got my coffee & added sugar from behind the bar but didn’t even bother stirring it and just replaced the lid.

Place itself is very warm compared to the rest of the airport. Quite uncomfortable. It may be understaffed as tables aren’t cleared or cleaned so customers need to throw whatever leftover cups & wrappers are there at the tables. Trash bin was also...

Stayed at this cafe of a world-famous chain, which unfortunately disappointed us with its service. My colleague and I purchased large branded Starbucks mugs in advance for the trip and as a bonus received 2 coupons for a free hot drink from them, we were assured that we could use the coupons in any establishment, but in this establishment we were rudely refused. And they assured us that they do not support this initiative. This is for the Starbucks next to gate 24... We purchased 1 China mug, two pastries, and two tall lattes. It cost $42 CAD. We had to tell them to give us one pastry we ordered. Then they only gave us one latte and would not even look in our direction as we stood there and waited and tried to get their attention. Awful place with cold people....
