Su Xiaoliu — Restaurant in Shanghai

Sue dimsum was a random find. We were really hungry and went in, ordered, ate and they were very good! I really liked their shrimp & water chestnut xiaolongbao. The water chestnuts were chopped into bite sized with a burst of sweetness that added a nice texture to the XLBs. Tried their seafood rice soup (they don't have it in english). This rice soup is full of seafood flavour. There's also these deep fried tiny shrimp. Each bite added a crispy texture. Huanghe fish and fish wantons had a very nice milky broth and wantons. The fish was fresh but was too small and had lots of tiny bones so it was hard to eat. Last, the sherperd's purse & mushroom XLBs (green) were the least tasty. It was dry and the combination gave a bitter aftertaste. This is a chainstore and I visited the one in the metro Dapuquaio station (line 9). There's an underground food area and Sue dimsum can be found there too. Overall food here...

Bij dit restaurant bestel je met een papieren formulier die je invult met potlood of via de app. Betalen kan contant of met alipay. Je kan hier lekkere dim sums eten die vers gemaakt worden. Ik vond de smaak goed maar sommige hadden zich helemaal volgezogen met water en dat is jammer. Het duurt lang voor je bestelling op tafel komt. Het personeel is vriendelijk en spreekt Engels.
