Starliner Diner — Restaurant in Tsuen Wan District

The theming of the food and restaurant is amazing! Truly unique and whisks you away into the avengers universe! They have burger buns shaped like the avengers universe characters coloured and designed with the character theme. They serve real 100% fresh squeezed orange juice, watermelon juice, and apple juice in bottles which tasted super good. They have a varied menu from burgers to fried chicken. We tried the fried chicken and it was average but it came with nice guacamole sauce and chipotle sauce and fresh fried potatoes chips you could use to dip in the sauce which was a nice touch . The hulk burger that had a hulk themed green bun was huge and juicy but the bun was a bit stale. Would have been a great burger with a fresher bun. The spider man burger with the shrimp patty was beautiful and tasty except again, the bun was stale and old tasting. The Groot mushroom and cheese burger was the cutest that tasted amazing with shroomy flavour and came with fries and truffle sauce and ketchup you could dip your fries in. However, the Groot burger bread was so stale and dry it was like a barely edible sponge!!! It was hard and spongy and the burger would have been perfect with a fresh bun. Very rude staff who took my order. It was 4:30pm, Thursday, so not many people. But this old man rushed me to order. First, I had to make sure my voucher from Klook could be used. He glanced at my phone, looked away, and just snapped, "Order". So I told him I wanted the Spiderman meal with an additional salad. He looked at me like he didn't understand then said again in that same stern voice, "Order". I repeated myself. He snapped back, "No salad! Order!" Irked, I grabbed the menu and pointed at the items I wanted. He snapped again, "Salad not part of voucher! Have to pay 50!" I was already angry by now and just nodded then proceeded to get my wallet then paid.

First off, Disneyland is full of tourists. We met other staff who weren't good in English but at least they were nice. This old man was just nasty. Secondly, Disneyland markets itself as this magical place. Having rude staff totally negates that. Worst part is we were having a really good day and were in high spirits despite the intermittent rain, and this last experience really put a damper on things.

If you can't be nice to customers, you have no business working in the service industry! Especially for Disneyland!
