Miss Coffee — Restaurant in Tuen Mun District

I came here on a Sunday afternoon after debating between the cafes nearby. I walked in and wasn’t greeted so I had to ask if I just take a seat anywhere. You have to get up and order your food and drink after you have sat down looking through the menu. This usually wouldn’t be an issue but on a busy Sunday and tight space, the cafe should reconsider having servers take the order. I waited 16 minutes to get my flat white after my cold, hard and dry pancakes showed up first. After I reminded the server about my drink she apologized and she was on it. The server then comes back to me to ask if I would like my flat white cold because the person who made my drink made a mistake. I couldn’t believe they would come back and ask something like that after the coffee took so long to arrive. The staff seemed slightly unorganized for being a small cafe. I really like Miss Coffee, they have nice people, service, food and drinks there. However, when I visited there last time in May 2022, I realised that the washroom they used to open to customers was then for employees only. I understand they might be in a situation that there was not enough human power to maintain the washroom and allowing customers to use it will increase more work relating to maintenance. I tried to use the toilet next to the cafe, in an old building, and was disgusted by a cockroach there (in the public toilet, NOT in the cafe) . Not having a clean washroom becomes my only concern that I will not be able to visit there again, unless I plan not to use toilet at all during the dining process. I sincerely hope this is temporary and will be solved soon, so I will go back and enjoy my coffee...

There are a couple of coffee shops near south end of Tsing Ling Path in Tuen Mun including Miss Coffee. This is small little place with casual interior decor and fair sized indoor seating. They offer a selection of western dishes and your expected range of coffee drinks. Opening hours are 11.45am to 9.30pm daily.

I stopped by Miss Coffee recently for a take-away espresso macchiato that was really well made with medium bodied and nicely flavoured espresso. Enough milk and foam to cut the edge and give the drink a nice, strong white coffee feel and taste. I liked this macchiato and would happily order it again at Miss Coffee.
