I came here on a Friday Evening about 6:30 pm and it was pretty quiet. The restaurant is small and cosy with lovely service. My husband and I dont read Chinese so we just ordered with the server instead of ticking the paper. The hot water and green tea is server yourself. Sad to see they didnt have any plum wine but the food was delicious. Two things we came for (curry rice and vegetarian ramen) was sold out which was disappointing but the other options were delicious. The ramen was chewy and the onigiri was handmade to order. My husband had the dumplings which were hand made to order as well. I ordered the vegetarian onigiri to go since it was that delicious. The radish was surprisingly lovely however, slightly too long for the dipping dish. I will be back for sure. Nice place to walk around in the evening as you are right next to the Ping Shan Trail. The restaurant got...
Read moreThe best ramen ever. The ingredients, soup , noodles ..are all homemade. Not like others bought from suppliers. After I had a ramen here, I can’t eat others ramen. Especially the noodle texture is so good here. The restaurant also serve dumplings, chicken wings ..snacks. They also serve some rice dishes. If you come to have a meal, you can also visit the surrounding historical area. Also you need to wait a while after you ordered, because they really cook it when you order. Not like those chain store pre-cook everything. Compare to the quality, it’s not...

The okra is overpriced (just okra boiled with plain water and chilled in the fridge with soy sauce and wasabi on the side) The ramens are kind of cheaper than those in town and the tomato soup ordered was nice but I don’t think it is worth an hour wait for that. They only have about 10 seats if there is a big group in the waiting line you are screwed you need to wait until they finished. Also they don’t accept Octopus which is not convenient to...
